Superman was so badass on Futures End today.

*Spoilers*:

While weakened, he was able to punch out Brainiac (a multiverse level threat) and hold the entire New York, which was falling!

He lifted the city?

With the curly telephone cords coming out of him, he reminds me of the Superboy TV series version of Metallo.

Is it me or does Superman's suit look different on that #41 cover? There are no weird finger-less gloves, and no collar.

I think it's just for the cover. He's wearing his civilian clothes so it would be weird to have his fingerless gloves showing.

But then again, he's wearing his red boots for some reason... :o

I'm hoping they threw us a curve ball with that suit in #38, and that this is the real one.

“Hate HARLEY QUINN? Then you will super hate BIZARRO! Bizarro star of worstest comic ever! Go ahead and miss it! If there’s one thing this issue not have it these two things: Jimmy Olsen and Chupacabras!” Don’t miss the start of this six-issue all-ages miniseries!

That doesn't look anything like doomsday...

Well it's comics. Nothing stays dead for long.:)

Anyway, this issue was an absolute blast. One of the best I've read since this whole nu52 started.

The epic new storyline “TRUTH” begins! For Superman, there’s no more holding back!
Looks like Superman is getting really casual. At first, this almost looks like it has to deal with just the story line going on in ACTION COMICS. However, the cover for SUPERMAN/WONDER WOMAN #18, released by Uproxx, shows that this new costume is DC-wide

I'll take that over the other abomination any day.

Wonder Woman's outfit looks pretty bad, though.

So Superman is now Superboy and Wonder Woman is now 90's Darkstar Donna Troy?

Eh, that's basically just the Morrison suit without the cape, which I'm okay with. It's one of those costumes that shouldn't work for me, but somehow it does. The hair, though, I just don't like. Never cared much for buzzcuts.

They should just have Clark leave Earth for some reason or retire him completely. Everything about Superman has changed to the point where the character is completely unrecognizable...

Costume? Gone
Marriage? Gone
Daily Planet? Quit
Kents? Dead
Spitcurl? Replaced with Buzzcut

Now they went the extra step of giving him a Connor Kent style makeover. It doesn't make sense what they are doing. It's obvious that DC has no idea what they are doing anymore...
