Really enjoying Action Comics, very happy I decided to give it a shot.

And i could not believe how good the olsen back-up was! I was literally hesitant with dread when turning the page before it actually started, but once i'd finished it..... just had to read it again.

I'm okay with Snyder, but What gets me is.... ZOD is a rumored villain? How about something else. Braniac is already confirmed and we can assume Lex is there as well. If they were going to go with a 2nd villain, why not someone else?

I'm not too excited about it. Never been a huge fan of his work. Probably the best thing he's done is Watchmen, and most of that was just a copy and paste of comic panels (and even then, eh). You never know, I suppose, but he seems to give what the people want with all kinds of nutty, over-the-top, but incredible slow, action.

My guess is that when Nolan and wife interviewed the directors, none of them were quite right so they went with Snyder who was the lesser of the evils.

Agreed I hope the Zod rumor is fake. Superman has so many other villains that could be used that have not appeared on the big screen yet.
