Well, perhaps we should clarify our terms then. Are we talking in a row without a misstep? I was. And are we just talking positive RT scores? If so then WB/DC has four in a row with Batman Begins(2005 - 84%), Superman Returns(2006 - 76%), The Dark Knight(2008 - 94%) and Watchmen(2009 - 65%). Or are we talking something else?

Now if both Thor & Cap get fresh this year(really good possibility) then it's 5 in a row for Marvel Studios. Even if GL is also fresh the it'll just be tied. Unless GL isn't, which I'd give a 50/50 at this point based on what we've seen.

Can I note how wrong critics are on SR. Cause, it sucked, lol. TIH was ten times better than it.

I always mentioned that SR was more underwhelming than bad to me, but in terms of studio success I like to measure by what the GA thought of the film, and GA response wasn't as bad some people on here make it out to be.

Thanks rashad. I just wanted to know if it was + or - since it was the only one of the three reviews listed yet not quantified on RT that I didn't remember reading.

Sure but that's a different way of tabulating it, which was why I asked how we would actually go about clarifying the terms of success or failure. Many would argue the same with Watchmen that you do with SR.

Well it was certainly bad enough to keep a sequel from being made.

15 years ago, this film would have involved thor landing on earth and being helped by a little boy.

To ME Thor would be awesome even without good reviews! :D

Same can be said for SM3. This is why overall RT score doesn't matter to me. SR got a 76 from critics and TIH got a low 60. TIH is FAR better imo. Not even close. I am happy Thor has a high score so far, but I don't need that validation.

11 reviews, 10 positive. Will be over 90% with next update.

ebertchicago The early reviews of "Thor" range between great and pretty fair.

I think I am going to enjoy this most out of the Marvel Studios films so far...til Cap ;)

I think I'm pretty much done with the reviews now , I've read enough now to know this Loki movie is pretty much fantastic !!!

Looking at how well received it appears thus far, I think it's going to be a big hit. Barring some catastrophe like everyone on the planet being broke for the next five weeks.

I'm gonna predict a 83% on Rottentomatoes when it's all said and done

One day till Thor!

My review will be up as soon as I get back home after the screening! God, I hope they won't cut the after credits scene like they've did with Iron Man 2 back in 2010.
heh the audiance yelled at the projectionist when he turned the lights up at the end of IM2. lol

I'm really stoked for this, and I'm begining to thing that this movie could break Spider-man's record for largest opening for a non-sequel, especially with the 3D money. We'll have to see.

People may have balked at Marvel promoting Avengers in IM2, but look at how this is paying off. So many are now paying attention to these movies, where normally this is the type of movie that may have been lost in the shuffle.

IM2 also had a very disappointing final confrontation, which didn't help. I'm glad Thor seems to be in the early going be getting more IM1 like love than IM2 or TIH (though again, I feel TIH is very underrated).

TIH gets the attention it deserves. It was a very plain and formulaic action flick.

IM was much better because of RDJs acting and the humour as well as some novelty factor with the robotic suit.

My 2 cents.

IM1 had the better acting of the 2 films, yes, but I feel like TIH had a better overall story and plot structure. Plus a better final battle. I love both about equally.

TIH did have a better final battle, yeah.
