If Oeming and Simonson wrote Thor, I would disprove once and for all the myth that only women can have multiple orgasms. Such is my man-love for them both.

Now, the real question: who would do the art? Oeming and Simonson are both great artists in their own right, but Oeming's style doesn't really suit Thor and Simonson's art looks a bit dated lately. I'd be happy with either, don't get me wrong, but who would really knock it out of the park in the art department?

Now, the real question: who would do the art? Oeming and Simonson are both great artists in their own right, but Oeming's style doesn't really suit Thor and Simonson's art looks a bit dated lately. I'd be happy with either, don't get me wrong, but who would really knock it out of the park in the art department?

What about Oeming and Simonson doing the art? One could ink the other, maybe do a breakdowns to finishes thing, or just straight pencil and ink. Either way, I'd buy two copies.

Epting would be cool. His covers for the Disassembled arc were awesome. I really liked the one where it looked like Thor was trying to knock Loki around with a giant boulder.

I'd be kind of curious to see Adrian Alphona on Thor, myself. Weird pairing, I know, but Alphona's got a spectacular attention to detail and goes for a lot of interesting angles in his layouts. I think he could definitely handle Asgard, especially if we're talking about the new wannabe-Gondor Asgard.

Alphona is a great artist, but he doesn't do so well with big guys. Unless you wanna see Thor weigh 100lbs and wear Gap jeans, I think it might be best to look elsewhere.

The Gibborim are pretty ginormous, and he drew the Wrecking Crew pretty well. I'm sure he could find a way to make a guy look like a linebacker.

Maybe he interprets Cap's powers to mean he's more agile than strong. I always thought a lot of artists bulk Cap up too much anyway. All that muscle means he'd never have the range of motion necessary to do all his acrobatics.

This whole enterprise started out with my asking who would be the perfect Thor artist. Perfection ain't easy.

That's just what we've already seen him do well, though. That's why I said I thought it'd be interesting to see how he tackles Thor. I'm not guaranteeing it'd be great or anything, but I think it would be cool to see his style stretched to more than just the same urban youth stuff that he typically draws.
