You bet your arse he would lolCorpy? Of course.

If Oeming and Simonson wrote Thor, I would disprove once and for all the myth that only women can have multiple orgasms. Such is my man-love for them both.
Now, the real question: who would do the art? Oeming and Simonson are both great artists in their own right, but Oeming's style doesn't really suit Thor and Simonson's art looks a bit dated lately. I'd be happy with either, don't get me wrong, but who would really knock it out of the park in the art department?
Hmm, that would be interesting. I still don't think either of their styles quite suit Thor perfectly, though.
Epting would be cool. His covers for the Disassembled arc were awesome. I really liked the one where it looked like Thor was trying to knock Loki around with a giant boulder.
I'd be kind of curious to see Adrian Alphona on Thor, myself. Weird pairing, I know, but Alphona's got a spectacular attention to detail and goes for a lot of interesting angles in his layouts. I think he could definitely handle Asgard, especially if we're talking about the new wannabe-Gondor Asgard.
The Gibborim are pretty ginormous, and he drew the Wrecking Crew pretty well. I'm sure he could find a way to make a guy look like a linebacker.
Maybe he interprets Cap's powers to mean he's more agile than strong. I always thought a lot of artists bulk Cap up too much anyway. All that muscle means he'd never have the range of motion necessary to do all his acrobatics.
Anyway, like I said, Alphona did do a good job with the Wrecking Crew, so we know it's not impossible for him to draw big dudes. That's what editors are for, at any rate. I should hope Marvel's not so far gone that an editor couldn't get a piece of art, notice that one of the characters is drastically too small, and send it back to the artist to fix. Cap's one thing, but Thor is a god and strength is kind of a big part of his game.
He would be great, but his style is a bit rough for what I'd want to see on Thor. The almost scribble nature of his art worked well for Ares, who's all about blind rage and unrestrained violence, but Thor's a little more staid and rational than that.

That's just what we've already seen him do well, though. That's why I said I thought it'd be interesting to see how he tackles Thor. I'm not guaranteeing it'd be great or anything, but I think it would be cool to see his style stretched to more than just the same urban youth stuff that he typically draws.I just think Alphona's better suited for a more urban-environment book. He's at his best when he's drawing young people and "real" clothes.

Isn't Singular the new AT&TBut the question is... A chain, or singular?
