The Official TIH Critic's Review Thread

That's really good, the same guy gave Iron Man 3.5 stars aswell, though by the sounds of it he hasn't read many Hulk comics if he thinks comic hulk is a one dimensional character.

Cool, positivity with a Hulk film.

He seems to know his comic lore yet calls the comic Hulk single brain-celled?WTF?

Great review none the less.

Unfortunately, what i thought about Tyler maybe true. Just get rid of Betty.

Betty is VERY important, maybe they just didnt concentrate on her this time, i think they'll give her a bigger role if/when another movie gets made.

"Incredible Hulk doesn’t waste a single frame on dull talky exposition and is all plot-driven and action-filled. In fact unlike the much-hyped Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Incredible Hulk never runs out of steam."

"With The Incredible Hulk Marvel seems to have done it again...it really is “incredible” this time around."

Sava,

Was she in the old tv series everyone loves so much?

nope, and not everyone loves it.

EDIT:... that was actually one of the show's bad points, she is a very important character for Hulk, her and T-bolt.

This final battle in New York streets replete with flying cars, lots of stuff exploding and fleeing bystanders actually outclasses the final show-off in the recent Iron Man by the way.

Duh.

The final battle stuff in Iron Man was some of the weakest **** I've ever seen in a comic book movie.

Just the 1 minute clip we've seen beats any "action" that was in that movie.

Yep, Iron Man's final battle was meh, I'm expecting the best comic book brawl yet from TIH.

Good to hear the movie´s much more entertaining than Lee´s Hulk, but the term "dumbed down" scares me. Iron man just recently showed how you can entertain an audience WITHOUT making it dumb.

I think the reviewer means dumbed down compared to Ang's hulk.

that's my concern as well

I hate some self-professed "Hulk fans".

I'm excited that he liked the movie, but I can't believe he called the character one dimensional.

I personally think the character of Elena was sort of a Betty Ross stand in, of course she did die in the pilot.

Iron Man was a very solid movie, but I did feel it lost some steam in the final battle which became a little too "comic book-movie gimmicky". That's actually the pont in the movie that seemed the least interesting to me.
Here's hoping TIH doesn't fall into that trap. The action I have seen seems intense and plot driven enough to counter that.

DANG>>..... HOW ABOUT THAT LINE!! This movie will be something else!

Geeze, people seem to really bash the ending battle of Iron Man as a fizzle...

Am I the only one who felt it fit perfectly with the circumstances that Stark was in and that it was a great and intense struggle/battle?

I don't think most felt that it was bad. In fact, the fact that it is the only minor flaw that prople seem to point to just means the movie was pretty solid, because if you are hunting, it's the only thing that stands out a little.

As long as it is good reviews, I am cool with that. At least we did not come out of the gate with negative stuff.
