I think it was a mistake for them to make a version of the game for EVERY console.
They oughta just stick to the 360, PS3, Wii (if even) and just concentrate on making it the best game possible. The more consoles you include, the more work that goes into making it available for them and the less work that goes into the actual game.
Amen. Wii get's so screwed when it comes to superhero games, and the 360 get's the best. ex. Spider-man 3, F4:ROTSS, Marvel:UA, Superman Returns. You aren't familiar with how a game is made when it happens to hit every platform imaginable are you?
One team does 360, PS3 versions one does Wii and PS2 (I think they need to stop with the PS2 already and just focus on GOOD Wii version) one goes for PSP, DS, or whatever it may happen to hit.
No resources are being detracted when these movie games come out, they are entirely different developers.
sure!If you want, I'll send you the original cover in june.
t:Yeah, it's pretty obvious.

you get a good look at abomination and bi-beast, i like the new bi beast design.
Let's look at Rockstar's Bully for comparison.
Originally came out on the PS2. Rockstar made it the best it could be, a well rounded and solid game. And then after it was released, THEN they concentrated on making a version for the Wii. They were able therefore to devote more people and more time, instead of having to divide everything up and race against time.
YOU don't understand how 9 out of 10, A star games are made. They're not made for every console out there right off the bat that's for sure. And if they are, name one.
But no seriously bud, great laugh. You aren't familiar with how a game is made when it happens to hit every platform imaginable are you?

I think you've got it wrong. I got the impression that he was saying less time and effort goes into the game itself when it's being developed for multiple consoles. Many games would have been much better off if they just focused on what's at hand and the best games are usually console exclusive. The Metal Gear games, the God of War, Devil May Cry (4 is only next gen consoles, excluding the Wii), etc. It's hard to find good games available for multiple consoles and games like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, even though it was a lot of fun, would have been much better if they focused on the next gen games instead of worrying about PS2 and Xbox versions. Justice League Heroes stuck to the PS2 and Xbox and was a much more well polished game for it.
Still a great laugh?
You happen to be wrong on that count, SEGA of America is the developer and publisher of the game and has a huge team putting out the game.
Wii is a reconfigured Gamecube with a different process chip allowing enchanced (not much) graphics and the motion control. Other than Super Smash, the console has crappy titles (exclude all Mario games), sad but true.
You happen to be wrong on that count, SEGA of America is the developer and publisher of the game and has a huge team putting out the game. The game which as you know being on all the platforms will not suffer because how all the games are ported to each console. For example, unless this title is being built from the ground up for 360 and PS3, the game will be ported from the 360 to PS3. Which means the resolution will be different. If the game is being built as it is, the graphics will only vary on the graphic capabilities form each console. As you know both PS3 and 360 can put out 1080p, but PS3 puts out alot of games in 720i while 360 puts out 1080p graphics. Now when companies like Ubisoft develop a game exclusive for PS3, then the graphics shoot up in res. It is just the way it is. Wii is a reconfigured Gamecube with a different process chip allowing enchanced (not much) graphics and the motion control. Other than Super Smash, the console has crappy titles (exclude all Mario games), sad but true. It should do better soon. Gamecube for all the hoopla was a great system. The Hulk video game will look and play better on the 360 without question. The technology (microsoft) was far more advanced than PS3 and I hope they (sony) catch up. The only thing they have going for them is exclusive titles ( Metal Gear, SOCOM and God of Wa, Devil May Cry) and the Blu Ray. Oh yeah, the PS2 while it may get phased out here in the US, it is way more popular in Japan than here. BTW, the PS2 version of Final Fantasy looks like **** (backwards compatible) on PS3.
Developers port multiplatform games from Xbox 360 to PlayStation 3 because they know the 360 inside out, it is easier to develop games for the 360 than the PS3. If developers stop being lazy and use the PlayStation 3 to its potential and think a bit then the PS3 games will be amazing and when ported down to 360 it will be a lot better too!
Oh to true, this has been the saddest gen yet. Lazy developers abound. Shovelware on Wii, PS3 getting bogged down ports, when it is so powerful, and FPS's up the ying yang. Truly a sad gen. (But hey we are only 2 1/2 years in.)
Very true.
But the developers that are dedicated to using the PS3's power to its potential are making amazing and beautiful looking games. These smaller developers show how dedicated they are and can make better products than bigger companies (hoping the same is for R&H for Hulk CGI!!), but the bigger companies are waking up and are trying to explore the different options that the PS3 delievers. Why can't these developers stop taking the easy quick route which delivers a medicore product but still brings in money but then makes unhappy audiences because it wasn't the game they were promised which was overhyped (Assassins Creed!!), but take the harder route which delivers a jawdropping product that gamers will be playing again and again and again!
Well what I think sucks is... every amazing product is taking the easy route. I mean I looked at Uncharted, and was blown away... until I played the demo and realized I'd be shooting 5 billion pirates for 20 hours.
I need something new, and exciting!
