and this may come as a shock to many of the people who post here, but i like SV... if i list my top 10 fav shows... its probably gonna be in it. my fav character is Lex. dont have a prob with TW. the reason i come here sometimes and make a little fun of the way things run here is that, people talk wayy too much about brandon routh over here and too little on SV. the fact that singer's superman is bs, and TW should have been superman are more prominent in this forum, than the show itself.
lets put the focus back on the show, and talk about other stuff... the storylines... the characters, the 5th Season (which is on the way), the DVD release of the 4th season (rumored to be in Sept.)
lets stop the flaming and the SR bashing...
we're all superman fans here... we dont need to bash anyone

We discuss Smallville in depth we haven't talked about Routh in a long time till people came to post his pictures and tell us how wrong we are etc. Noone here even wants Welling in this movie anymore all we ever (rarely) say about the movie is that we prefer the Smallville mythos to the donnor movies and dicuss a future movie we might like to see. All the things you mentioned are in threads on the main page! None of what you are saying is true don't judge without looking into it.

That's because the vast majority of Smallville fans (with the exception of a few idiots) are doing their best to avoid the Supes forum, and aren't starting discussions about Smallville over there.

On the flip side, a fair number of the movie fans keep coming over here and denying us the same courtesy. Very rarely are the SR discussions over here started by the SV fans... and if they are, it's usually by the same few idiots who cause trouble everywhere.

So who's to blame, exactly?

BUt have you read all the posts? no of course not. It's judging a book by it's cover. People see the title of the thread and make assumptions about the content. You probably also always come in here when there is big movie related news and peole have flocked here to argue. Remember the old Welling thread in the movie forum that was more of a chat thread? If we went by post counts in it then alot of anti-welling people would have to be assumed Welling fans? Older posters like you should know better.

What's more funny (or disturbing)? Going into a SMALLVILLE forum and seeing comments about the film and the two actors playing Clark Kent in different mediums, or going to a SUPERMAN forum that touts itself as a "gentlemen's club" and seeing WELLING, SMALLVILLE, and the show's FANS bashed completely out of context?

Start at post 343 and keep reading. I see Para deleted HIS post that Serene quoted. Not only do the Singer elite BASH Welling, but they're BASHING people on other boards for having an opinion. I'm a "lowlife" according to one of them. Any respect I had for those forums is pretty much history now, and not because of the bashing - that takes place everywhere - it's that it was *started* by a moderator and nothing was done to stop the continued downward spiral. BS!! You have over 7500 posts at SHH. A mere forty one have been in the SV forums. Seven posts have discussed episodes, four have expressed how "hot" a particular actress is, and three are miscellaneous. The rest (27) have been in the Welling threads and EVERY FREAKIN' ONE of them has either been to discuss Routh, bash Welling, or other poster's opinions. You're not in this thread to discuss TW. You're being a troll. The proof is in your post history, which ANYBODY can look up with two mouse clicks, including the mods.

When I first found Superherohype I went over there. Never again. Very scary people. I am very happy here at Smallville. I stay here and now I'm even posting. Now if only we could make those people stay away, but it does make me appreciate how great the people are here. On this site people can actually compose complete sentences and not have to resort to profanity when they're vocabulary comes up short. Imagine that.

I didn't delete that post, I wanted it to be there. I still think it is unfair to slander Routh in a Tom Welling thread like that (nose job? fix his teeth? yellow tint?). Sure some fanboys were in here but they were there BEFORE my post, check the times - ironically the only one person that did reply from BT was not openly critical of it. I was going to post it up here and Justin was doing damage control, that wouldn't be the first. There is another guy there spamming away in that board which I pointed out and I had my post removed. I know I may not be PC, I rather take the bullet for that and let it go like that.

I am NOT a mod there, nor I am mod in this particular forum.

I still think it's unfair that Jc and numerous other people have, for well over a year now, gotten away with slandering Tom (Needs a nose job, needs his lips fixed, etc. ad nauseum.) yet it still happens every now and then. It happens in the Brandon Routh thread and anywhere that it can be gotten away with. Some people even make "interesting" avatars, however briefly they use them...

Turnabout is fair play until both sides are treated alike for their behaviour. And I don't see anyone being made a pariah on KSite or any of the other big Smallville boards in the way Pat was at BT... granted some seem to do a good enough job of making themself into one, but still.

Whoa whoa... I never said Tom needs a nose job. When the discussion of Welling/Routh came up of who looks more like Reeve I simply pointed out that Tom has a huge nose and lips in comparison to both Routh and Reeve. Also in the casting war days I pointed out that he doesn't have very average features which works against him in owning both the role of Superman and Clark Kent. Not saying he's ugly or needs surgery, infact by most accounts I'm sure he'd be considered better looking than Reeve or Routh.
