Pat didn't say "Routh needs his teeth fixed," either, she just mentioned they're yellow in the same way you mention Tom's nose, lips, and whatever else.

You haven't. I have. Para didn't like Pat mentioning Routh's nose, teeth, and whatever else. I don't like people (not just you, just so we're clear) making the same disparaging comments about Tom. Likening him to a donkey springs to mind.

If it's okay for people to have picked on Tom's "flaws" for well over a year, it's more than fair to turn that around on Routh and mention his "flaws" too. No?

Turnabout is more than fair until both sides are treated equally. Equal treatment in this instance would involve me picking out distateful posts about Tom and reposting them where they're guaranteed to cause the biggest ruckus.

If the rules I had recommended to Malice had stayed a bit longer he would have been banned a long time ago (sorry JcDc tis true). It was until Mirko went with the the more lax policy and Malice was laid off from admin duties.

There was feature that block users from certain forums while allowing them to continue posting elsewhere. It's more better than outright banning because people can keep returning, it is the best compromise. I suggest you guys make a massive push for this in the technical forum (not only for your sake but other forums), you can have all the *troll control* you want in this forum, you supply the names and the person can be blocked. It's too bad it was not updated since the upgrade. This forum is already 2 versions behind.

Anyways I am going to have all my posts on my BT account deleted physically (sent out a pm to Justin), and waive off any other project I had in development with him. I don't really plan to use that account - probably extremely sparingly for very special circumstances. I am doing this since it is becoming apparant I have a conflict of interest and I am not going hurt Justin's site's rep. I am going to make a decision about this SHH account in the coming months post of Batman Begins (been waiting 2-3 years) as well.

2. There are always new members who haven't read my reasons for why Tom is all wrong to play Superman. When I make a point it's not directed at anyone to get angry, it's directed at whoever wants to read it and discuss it. I'm open to discussing topics pro or con regarding anything Superman. I don't go after members by reiterating points, I would hope you guys know I'm just having fun and discussing with the entire group... which is why I would repeat certain comments.

Para, with all due respect, you're just as bad as some of the trolls that come into this forum. When was the last time you had something constructive to say about the show or its cast? That's not to say that every comment should be positive, but when your only purpose is to post some snarky comment directed at a user or an actor from the show, I really don't see how *I* am the one doing the "slandering." As a mod on *any* forum, you should know better. Look at your posts and actions here (your avatars, your comments, who you choose to "target," etc.), and tell me with a straight face you're being unbiased. Please, get over it. Move on. Let those who post here on a REGULAR basis make suggestions about which threads should be merged or closed. I'm asking nicely.

And thank you, James. I had yellow teeth at one time too. I drink a lot of tea and had to do something about it (laminates are a beautiful thing, doncha know?) I also have a larger nose than I'd care to have, but I'd only get a rhinoplasty if I came under public scrutiny - like if I was an actress or something. It's often EXPECTED of leading actors, unless a certain feature defines them - Karl Malden, for example. If you're an "unknown" however, and you've just been cast in a LEADING role for one of the biggest blockbuster films of the decade, I would have thunk that the director would have made some arrangements beyond a nutritionist and personal trainer for his Superman, but that's just me. Oh, and eyebrow waxing takes *maybe* five minutes, not including the time it takes to heat the wax. It stings, but it's worth the pain.

Meh... this is SO not worth arguing. I swore yesterday that I wouldn't get dragged into the mud, but here I am. Un-freakin'-believable.

First off you are being a jerk by pulling up stuff on me like that. Second off 2 of those bannings were mistakes. Care to listen to what happened?

There was a guy spamming ipod stuff so I did a google search for funny pics to say "close thread" or "****" and apparently there was no linking allowed and instead of the pics I chose getting posted... This "tubgirl" pic was replaced without me knowing it. I explained the situation and after laughing at me, the ban was pulled.

During the casting wars most of the time it was certainly in response to someone else's post. Yes that is correct. Of course there were times when I would say why Welling isn't right for the part

They weren't freebies. Each one of those was a result of 1. mistake 2. arguing with some person who chose to resort to flaming. I got off because through investigating I was always found to not be the initiator. I'm here to have fun, and if you notice I don't make personal attacks. This is why I stick around. You were not involved with any of those situations so to try and paint a bad picture of me without the facts is asinine.

I would NEVER post personal info like IPs and all that type of stuff. NEVER. It's my personal code. If there is anything that consistent with me, it is that. But I have a different take when it comes to probations and bans to keep things in line. Although it was sort of cheap shot I suppose, the people here are complaining that certain initiatives were not taken regarding probation/bans. There has to be some examples. Think of it in the long run, at least you won't repeat now know explicitly the position you are in. Honestly you do offer some arguments that are good when it is outside the welling crossfire.

You might be surprised to learn that I'm perfectly fine with your comments about Tom, as long as I can respond that Routh has a bridge larger than the Akashi Kaikyo. Imagine that I'm Pat, for a second: if you get away with "big nostrils, fat lips," and I get hung up like a sacrifice for my comment, do you consider that reasonable?

All I'm asking is that the mods treat everyone equally. Perhaps it's too much to ask?

As long as you are within the guidelines there are no problems. That's what you have to realize in regards to how the mods deal with things. For example I can comment on a SV episode and say "Ughh I hate how they ripped off SW in that scene." Sure some members might get annoyed personally at me (which again I must use the word "asinine") but I'm perfectly within the guidelines. Now if I'm attacking someone with insults like "You liked that SV episode? Man you are such a stupid f((((ing moron!" then that would be flaming and crossing the line. You see?

I admit I am not exactly the biggest Welling fan on earth, this is not directed to anyone but I was kinda driven insane by the blood lust for him from earlier. This is a parting shot (cheap I admit). I won't be around here now and you won't see me at BT as well. I can't guarentee what happens or make promises on how this place is moderated - it is beyond my control.

Theoretically that's true, but as evidenced, that doesn't always happen. If a mod decides to pick on someone just because they can, and with blatant disregard to the "rules of moderating" (that being primarily to set an example to other posters), there are definite problems.

I do. Perhaps I shouldn't have said "mods". I should have specified "mod." There's only one who's gone around doing things that would get normal members a warning...

I think the rest of your post is missing the point of mine... I'm well aware of what flaming is and I wasn't referring to that. As you may have noticed, I had no problem with you saying an episode of Smallville wasn't all that good. I didn't like the most recent one much myself.

Which is fair enough, as long as there really is some apparent consideration involved. If someone repeatedly comments on one actor, and you do nothing, and then someone else comments similarly on another and you decide to be judge, jury, and executioner... how is that equal consideration, really? Especially when Pat has never caused any particular problems when compared to those instances you mention.

The comments about Tom have been far, far worse than "He needs a nose job" or "his teeth are yellow." But you've never linked any of those posts in order to cause trouble in the way you did Pat's. I really don't know what to say to that. I get that people can have bad days, really I do, but you always seem to pick on the same small group of people.

I used to mod on some pretty big boards, and I would have bad days where I said or did things that were really stupid and upset a lot of people. I ended up quitting for my own sanity, not just for the good of the board...

That shouldn't matter. I didn't think you were the biggest Routh fan, either, but you're still over on BT feeding Pat to the wolves. I'm sure there's some Welling bashing over on BT that you could link to and give us some of that good old "turnabout".

You've been around SHH! for years, so you must be aware that the Welling bashing over the years has far exceeded (in both viciousness and frequency) anything that has been said about Routh? You've even parcipated in some of it yourself.

It's this kind of thing that has caused many of the Smallville/Welling fans to stop posting on the Supes forum and, to a lesser extent, BT. There's bashing of Tom over there to this day, but if someone goes over there to be negative about Routh they're picked off like a fly. And then when they comment on that, they're told they're imagining it. Nobody's imagining anything, and now there's indisputable evidence to prove it.
