Guess what on tvguide channel close up they had the ten hottest guys on TV Tom landed at number 9...
How were the votes tallied? Any idea? I'd put him way higher on the list, but I'm biased LOL. And we all know how accurate polls are - just ask folks over in the Superman forums. :p :p :p

LOLOL!!! ;)

I personally think that Tom is one of the greatest actors to ever live. He's awesome as Superman(better than George Reeves obviously)and I think that he'll do great with his other acting roles in the future.I wish him all the luck in the world after he's done with Smallville and moves on to other acting roles.

Pay attention class. ^^^ Now THAT's how you win friends and influence people in a SV forum. :D

I don't think it was votes just the editors or people doing the story. He is on such a small show compared to alot of these guys at least the ones I saw. Low ratings and flannel can't bury the sexiness though :)

My sister thinks the same. She watches Smallville 2 times (Sometimes 3) in a day; just to see Tom Welling.

I'm shocked!

;)

LOL! J/K

I'm up every day around 5am and get in about an hour of aerobics and ab work. During that time, I'll "watch" at least one episode of SV on DVD or tape and sometimes part of a second. Then I'm off to work. By 5:30/6pm-ish, I'm back home and hitting the weights. At least an hour; ditto the SV DVD/tape dance. Done by 7pm, just in time for SV on ABC Family. And if it's a Wednesday... well, you know the drill. LOL Wargod, tell your sister she's in good company. :D

<-- Bona fide SV fan!

She knows that. Sometimes she reads your comments about Smallville and she agrees with everything that you said so far about the series.

Well Tom's up for a teen choice award and we're all too old but I had my kid vote. What's weird is how many choices are R rated. I guess it's more for the older teens. Anyway he's up for best actor in a drama and Allsion Mack is up for best sidekick that's it Smallville wise.

Again? How does that work anyway? Initially, I thought you had to BE a teen, but I guess just *playing* one meets the criteria?

It's "teen choice", you dont have to be a teen to get selected...
Gotcha. Well, he IS popular with teen audiences. I can't argue that.

Thanks, Melly. :) I love that look on his face when he was talking to Jonathan and Martha.. Perfect and wrenching.

The Teen Choice awards nominations cover all ages, it's just whatever happens to be popular amongst teens. It's one of those award shows that personally I find to be very suspect in a "whose PR firm or studio paid the most to us this year" kinda way.. but, meh.. as long as Tom shows up again, I'll watch.

I already voted, btw.
(What? I don't look 17?) ;)

(I voted too, I'm 17 again in June for the 24th time!)

Here's an article on CBTD 2, this confirms that Duff has joined the cast but does not even mention Tom....

Electra takes 'Cheaper' shot in comedy sequel

by Boris Kit

Los Angeles (Hollywood Reporter) - Carmen Electra has joined the cast of "Cheaper by the Dozen 2," a sequel to Fox's hit 2003 comedy remake.

Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt return as heads of the Baker family who, while on vacation, find themselves in competition with a rival family of eight children, headed by Eugene Levy. Electra plays Levy's new wife, a former actress.

Hilary Duff, a veteran of the first movie, is also in the cast.

Adam Shankman ("The Pacifier") is directing. Shawn Levy, the director of the first film, is serving as a producer.

Electra has appeared in the features "Starsky & Hutch" and "Scary Movie." She also stars in "Dirty Love" with Jenny McCarthy.

Since Welling is still shooting The Fog for another few days (?), I suppose it's *possible* all parties are just waiting for production to wrap before they can knock heads - and negotiate numbers - if the CBtD2 people are even interested in casting him. I'll be surprised if he takes it though. Not because of the film itself, but because of the lack of time off before SV kicks in again. Welling works his freakin' TAIL off on SV and is apparently "everywhere" during production. I would imagine he'd want to have a *few* weeks off before SV hell starts up again. But what do I know? If he takes the role, I'll be ecstatic. I'm the furthest thing from a Steve Martin fan you can imagine, but I wouldn't be going to see Martin. :p
