What about Mystique's eyes in X-Men?

Her eyes weren't always white and when they were she was standing somewhat still and fully facing the camera.

An active Superman will be a lot harder to work on... he'll have a lot more screen time and will moving a lot more.

I still think CG blue in his eyes will be problematic, but who knows what they'll be able to do? Maybe the effects house has killer turn-my-brown-eyes-blue algorhythms in their software...

I don't know why, but that picture really isn't convincing to me. It actually unconvinces me that Welling could be Superman. It looks...not right.

LOL! One thing that pic may not have shown, since it's a mid-shot, is the truss he's probably wearing!

Don't get me wrong, I used to love watching old re-runs of that show when I was a kid. It was a lot of fun, but poor George is so far away from what a modern audience expects for a super hero it isn't even funny.

That's interesting.

Not really surprising. I remember a very well painted teaser poster of Spider-Man with Leonardo DiCaprio as Parker and Nikki Cox as MJ in one of my Wizard issues. Even had James Cameron as director.
