LOL.)

He'd make a good Perseus if they ever wanted to remake Clash of the Titans. Who better to play the son of Zeus, after all? :D

It's all about the casting, doncha know!

It's slightly different, it mentions that Debra Hill will still recieve producing credit posthumously... I haven't seen that detail before.

Here it is pasted in.

Welling set to star in The Fog remake

The cameras are rolling in Vancouver on Revolution Studios' The Fog, a remake of the classic 1981 horror-thriller of the same name. Directed by Rupert Wainwright, the remake is based on the film written by John Carpenter and the late Debra Hill. Columbia Pictures is aiming for an October 14, 2005, release.

The film stars Tom Welling, Maggie Grace, Selma Blair, DeRay Davis and Rade Serbedgia. The film focuses on a small Northern California town where a thick, mysterious fog is terrifying the residents. Shrouded within the fog lies a ghastly secret of merciless revenge, one that the town's inhabitants would do well to unravel -- before it's too late.

The Fog is being produced for Revolution by Carpenter, Hill, and David Foster from a screenplay by Cooper Layne (The Core). Hill, who passed away on March 7, will receive producing credit posthumously. Derek Dauchy and Dan Kolsrud are serving as executive producers. Shane Riches is serving as associate producer.

I'm so glad they're using a non-Clark picture of him for The Fog press. He needs to look his age for this role.

Oh, and can I just add what a freakin' GORGEOUS picture that is!

You should head on over to the DTS TW images thread then, someone posted a huge version of that over there.

It's absolutely breathtaking.

Where? The one in the Gallery #17 thread? That doesn't look like the exact same one. Did you mean somewhere else?

How cool is this!
I finally figured out how to transfer recorded shows from my TiVo to the PC. :D

Okay, technically... my husband worked it out with a little help from me. I seem to recall being called a "dyslexic piece of schitt" at one point in the process too.. but it all seems to have worked out. ;)

No, I meant that one but I misremembered it.

It's not the same one. :( But it looks like Fresh Faces.org might have it....

It's still gorgeous, however.

If you find it there, can you post it here or email it? I'd like a bigger copy. I somehow screwed my registration up at Freshfaces and can't log in.

I haven't been able to get login to K-site either.. not that I ever post there, but I must have registered at one time or another. Now I can't get in. Grrrrr...

Wow, none of them are the same... it looks like one I found there is the same pose taken by a different photographer, maybe taken a split second apart... The angle is slightly different and the look on his face isn't quite the same, but it's close.

It's the closest one I found.

You have mail.

It must be something with AOL. I lost my login at K-site also. BTW that is one of my favorite pics there is also a full body one but I can't remember where I've seen it. I think he looks older with the hair out of his face.

I don't think they *could* have used a "Clark" picture, even if they wanted to. Such promotional photos are owned by The WB and for use only to promote *their* show.

That said, I do find the photo that they DID choose interesting. For one thing, the photo isn't proprietary to The Fog's production. And of all the press photos of Welling, they chose his "surfer-laid-back" look. They didn't seem to be too concerned over him looking older per se. If I had to use a previously published photo, it wouldn't be easy. But then again... I'm sorta biased. :D

Ah.... so many choices, so little time. ;)

At a guess I'd say you're probably not going to find a larger copy of the exact image that was posted on Filmstew, as it was taken by their in-house photographer. I don't know whether she ever syndicates her images through agencies.

I've been both busy and lazy, which is a bad combination for getting things done. Yikes! ;)

And I've had a stinkin' cold. Do you want it?

Hey I still can't get on DTS did anyone read the interview with the guest star on Talisman? It said he talked about Tom and I was wondering if he said anything interesting.
