Sioux said:First of all, JC, you always seem to manage to take a "Tom Welling" statement and flip it around back to Superman Returns. I wasn't even commenting on the movie. I was commenting on Smallville and Welling's enormous contribution to the show.
Secondly, I take the negative things you say because they jump out at me when I read your posts. And you did say a negative thing about Tom: "his acting ability (or lack thereof)," to which I posted my reply. Now, I'm not yelling at you or ranting or screaming. You made a statement, and I made a counter argument. Very simple. No fireworks necessary.
You can't quite figure out why people pounce on you when you say stuff like that, therefore, allow me to enlighten you: You are on a "Tom Welling Thread." Just for your information, it usually means that the thread will be pro-Tom Welling, and if you make a statement like the one above, which is so ludicruous, I have to call you on it. When I do, you got all bent out of shape.
I've got that you don't care for Welling, but please don't make every Welling comment a Superman Returns argument. I'm completely done with that whole thing, and if you read my post, I spoke about his acting in Smallville's first season - never mentioned the movie once.

Ignore 'em, Sioux. Not worth the effort, j'know?Sioux said:What's the matter, JC, don't like having another on your tail?

Basically you don't know the history of anything going on. You just see there are 3 people talking smack to me, and you join in because you are new and want recognized. Common occurence, you wish to be important and join in on something blind with no knowledge. It's ok little one
Dunno if I'll bother responding to you much anymore as Agent Pat and the others I mentioned might not like me, but we have a history so I don't mind to keep discussing with them. I see you as nothing of importance though. Don't take offense, just letting you know why your remarks don't mean much to me. I like real opinions, real discussions, not joining in with no knowledge to get people saying "yeah bro you flamed him good, you are on our team now!"

JcDc said:It's all about the attitude. I just discuss the topic and let things go when these people get out of hand. I do get offended by Triplet that we discuss stuff outside of Smallville related and become friends... Then because she doesn't like my opinions on the show and movie I get put on ignore and told she's ending our friendship. What a silly thing to end a friendship over. Unless I'm quoting you specifically, I'm talking in general about the subject. It sucks that she didn't see that, I never made a post against the show to upset her. Ah well. I can't apologize for having my own opinion. If you ever read this triplet I hope you are doing well and realize it's a dumb thing to throw a friendship away on![]()

\Superman/ said:It sucks to be interested in a subjects and not have people who just want to discuss it. I mean, it's an open forum and if you are interested in talking about a certain subject they can't act like they own the board and tell you what to say. As for whatever happened with your friend- stop trying to rationalise her actions. If Triplet stopped being your friend and talking to you because she doesn't like your opinions that is some lameness right there. As you said you wuold have quoted her if you meant to direct your comments at her. Not everything i say on a forum is directed at one person so they have to be paranoid or something to think that![]()
Sioux said:Agent Pat, I'm going to take your advice and ignore him. The fact that I would actually have to explain that he is baiting the people on this board is not worth the time. Triplet nailed it with her comments about him - that's exactly what he does. He constantly makes snide, insulting comments. Then acts like he did nothing wrong. Whatever. I'm ignoring him.
Anyway - great pictures. You have some of the best I've seen. It appears that the next episode, "Blank," is going to be really good, but I'm not sure how I feel about Chloe knowing so much about Clark. Here's the real question: Chloe just thinks that Clark is a meteor freak, if I'm not mistaken. How will she react, as a reporter, when she finds out he's an alien? I mean that's the story of ALL stories for someone like her. Now I don't think she'll betray him, but I wonder about those journalistic instincts.

triplet said:Look. It's not any of your business what went on between me and Jc, but you musta quoted him with the thought in mind that I'd read what he said since he's still on ignore...

Hey, thanks!!Sioux said:...Anyway - great pictures. You have some of the best I've seen.

Well, in Duplicity, she said it would be the story of the century, or something along those lines, for the Daily Planet. BUT, she also regretted starting the Wall of Weird in Pariah when she found out (to her understanding) that her best friend was a "meteor freak."It appears that the next episode, "Blank," is going to be really good, but I'm not sure how I feel about Chloe knowing so much about Clark. Umm.. yeah. SEXY! Isn't it nice to have such distinct enough ab muscles that counting them can actually be used as a descriptor? LOL!I think they altered the design *slightly* for subsequent episodes. It appears to be a tad larger and more elongated. The phone booth scenes have the scar go over the second row of ab muscles and down about four to six inches north of his navel. Um... can you say SEXY?![]()

*coughsockpuppetcough*
(and I'm sure it's not the first..)
Back to what's important...I've been wondering how they are going to get Chloe to find out that Clark's not a meteor freak, but an alien. So in Blank is she going to tell him that he's a meteor freak??? I assume his parents will fillm him in, or somehow the Blanking will be reversed before the end of the ep.
Oh, hell yeah! But then again, I'll buy anything SV-related that isn't a "toy." I love behind-the-scenes stuff and the companion books are chock full of interesting factoids. Here's one I never picked-up on, and damn, I SHOULD have!Serene said:That's really cool. I should get that book. Is it worth the read?
LOL! Good point! Gotta luv that bod, doncha know?Umm.. yeah. SEXY! Isn't it nice to have such distinct enough ab muscles that counting them can actually be used as a descriptor? LOL!![]()
Agreed! I do love how the writers are connecting the dots with this part of the story though. It will be interesting to see how they take the \8/ symbol - which has appeared on EVERYTHING at this point in SV continuity (LOL!) - and explain why Clark changes it to the familiar \S/ logo later.I like the elongated version a bit more. The special effects on that initial burning when it appeared, and the subsequent flarings were soo well done.
