It's not really him, it's a very bad manip.

Actually, someone sent me that one in an email....

So, trust me when I say that it's even more disturbing without the little black thing covering his naughty bits....

THREE AND COUNTING: With a mid-June start date in Toronto scheduled, it's still unclear just which members of the original Baker family will be on hand to join father and mother - Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt - and eldest sister, Piper Perabo, in "Cheaper by the Dozen 2."

Hilary Duff, who didn't really have much to do in the original, but did make an impression, is currently making "Material Girls" with sister Haylie for Martha Coolidge, and after that, has several more of her own vehicles in the pipeline. She is doubtful for a return.

Tom Welling - who has been juggling "Smallville" acting chores with his work on the big-screen remake of "The Fog" - could do it, but will he?

Juvenile actors Kevin Schmidt and Forrest Landis are reportedly coming back for the feature that will involve the Bakers on vacation, competing against a rival supersized family.

A mid-June start? That would be tough for Tom to swing....

They've started mid-July usually for Smallville, right? So, he'd have maybe a month or three weeks to get his scenes in.

He'd probably jump at the chance if it's possible to fit it in his schedule given how much he enjoyed doing the first one.

hmmm they are filming in Canada so if his part isn't too large......When does The Fog wrap anyone know?

Its not like it's really close. Toronto and Vancouver are the equivelant distance from one another that BUffalo is from Seattle. I'd assume the only way he could do it is after the Fog wraps.

Would he even really want to do it regardless?

He's just a busy bee this summer, now isn't he?

It's set to wrap in May, but the exact date wasn't published I don't think.

And Vancouver isn't close at all to Toronto, as Hulk pointed out.

So, he couldn't overlap Smallville and CBTD 2 really....

I doubt he'd have to, the shoot for CbtD in 2003 was only about six weeks long. I don't expect this one will be much dfferent. He'd have a month between the start of shooting for CbtD2 and the start of shooting for SV, which is plenty of time to film a role of the scope his was in the first movie.

I kind of hope he does it. :ducking: :)
I know it wasn't exactly an art house film.. but I thought it was a cute family movie.. and my jaded kids even liked it. It certainly gives him a whole different exposure than a film like "The Fog" will give him.. and a broad fan base is only a good thing.

I'm also being selfish because I love Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt. I know Tom has said how much he likes SM too, so I'm hopeful he'll be able to do it.

One thing though.. I dearly hope they make him college-aged at least and not a high school student again.

If he does do it, I just hope the script is better and his character actually gets some kind of arc that actually is shown onscreen.

I will probably see it in any case, the kids loved the first one although I didn't like it much.

If Tom is in it, I will see it in the theatres at least once.

i highly doubt TW will be back for CBTD....

He loved doing the first one and got along well with the entire cast, so if his sked permits I think he will do it.

I agree it was fun to watch with my kids they just giggled and giggled. I also agree it would be good for his career. I just can't see him turning it down if it is at all feasible his reasons for taking it in the first place were personal and the director really liked him also. Plus any exposure for their star is also good for Smallville so everyone wins. Sorry about my geography guys.

Okay, there is something seriously wrong with the world if William Peterson is beating Tom Welling as the most handsome man on TV in a Spanish poll.

I mean, is this man:

More handsome than this one?

Please vote and fight this injustice!

I believe it mostly depends on the age of the voters.

Here's something that just goes to show how broad SV's revenue stream actually is. People who argue SV is nothing in the grand scheme of things (usually in context with the upcoming Superman film) need to look outside the Nielsen box, literally and figuratively...

Excerpt:

A Upoc.com text-messaging group for the TV show "Smallville" ballooned into a network several thousand strong, says David Friedensohn, CEO of Upoc Networks. In response, The WB network, which broadcasts "Smallville," created a text-based contest in which one viewer would win a cameo on the show.

"That little campaign generated 10 million text messages," Friedensohn says, adding that his company made "a little teeny tiny piece of money" on each text sent to the contest.

10 MILLION text messages? Yikes!

Have you eyes, man?

You seriously think that any one in their right mind would think Peterson is better looking than Welling?

Peterson is attractive, but handsome? No way. I can think of a dozen men in Peterson's age range that are tons better looking than him as well.

It's not just his age, I'm hardly a teen myself.

ohh, trip, ur just saying that coz ur in love with welling...

different people have different opinions and views... learn to deal with it please. so people dont think welling is better looking than peterson. big deal. it doesnt mean anything. and frankly doesnt matter.

I'm not sure that's the term I'd use, I'm no love sick teen, but whatever...

Of course I know it doesn't really matter, but I think it's hardly rocket science to see that Tom is clearly more attractive than WP but that said: It's hardly the end of the world if Tom doesn't come in first.

I'm just playing, mehzeb. Or maybe you didn't realize that.

Did you think I was serious when I said that this was a injustice that needed righting?

Maybe you need to grow a sense of humor.

That's why I said "mostly" in my post. One thing I'm going by is my wife....she thinks Tom is too "pretty"....she prefers the more rugged look (thankfully). It just comes down to personal opinion.
