I wouldn't believe you'd spoken to him if you tried to tell me that he'd gone on and on about how they filmed the scarecrow scene five times, and he nearly froze his jewels off ...

That kind of thing stretches the plausibility just a touch. You may have no reason to doubt her, but "we" includes me, and I have plenty of reasons.

Either Tom lied to her, or she's lying to everyone. Per you, I shouldn't call her a liar; but that means I have to call Tom one. The only fair option is to say they're both lying liars who lie.
How about Tom was mistaken? I don't know, and thats kind of my point, we don't know, so its kind of harsh to call anyone a liar..thats all I was saying.

The "spring break" line was in the script ...

Someone, be it Tom or whoever this person is, is making **** up.

Well, Bonnie also said on a late night talk show (I forget which one, maybe Letterman) that it was ad libbed...

Seemed a little odd to me that Tom would be in LA on Christmas day eating out...

Not harsh if they are lying ... I'm not above apologising if they can prove beyond any doubt that it happened. I wouldn't question it if she said she saw him, or even if she said she spoke with him, but some of the things she claims he told her are just ... not very likely, to use nice words.

I didn't see that one, but that's both strange and answers a few questions at the same time ... I suppose they'd class it as an ad-lib if she added to what was already there, even if it didn't really add that much. I don't have a copy of the script I saw, so I'm working from memory. The bit about winning the contest *may* not have been in there, and honestly it would probably be funnier without it. But I would swear to it that at least the first part was in there, as you'd have some major dead space if you didn't put *something* into that scene right after the spill ... this is a comedy (supposedly), you'd have to be dense to leave people staring gormlessly without a punchline.

The one thing I will say is that this film had a few minor rewrites, so who knows which version I saw ...

Regardless, I think we have our answer for where the information really came from. Now if this had been a lunch meeting with Bonnie Hunt I could have well believed her spilling her entire life story ...

P.S. I'm well aware that I'm a killjoy. Bah, Humbug!

rumpuso pointed me to this from MSN Entertainment:

TV New years resolutions:
WB: Keep those feel-good soaps coming! "Gilmore Girls" stumbled a little early this season, but now it's back on track (I love Paul Anka!), and "Related" deserves a second chance, too. Love "Smallville" (note to execs: have something else in development for Tom Welling, because he's about to outgrow the Clark Kent role, but he's way too dreamy to let go). Guilty pleasure: "7th Heaven" tied with "Charmed" (though let's face it, the Halliwell girls are kind of running out of gas -- pretty much every innocent has been saved in San Francisco, don't you think?).

Hah! Remember that story last year of an older gentleman who met Welling while they were shooting the ice skating scenes from Unsafe? Well apparently, the story was the 7th most viewed story page on that site for the entire year! LMAO!! Too funny. Here's the link:

I do remember that and found it to be a wonderful story.

That's among some pretty big company.

Regarding the alledged TW sighting in LA...

I'm surprised no one mentioned the eerily similar NY 'alledged sighting' posted by a certain...poster...in this forum. Shame we never got to see a developed photo of any identifiable person of interest.

Jeepers, you don't suppose the "LA sighter" and that certain...poster...are one and the same, do you? I mean both are kinda lovable in an eerily similar way.

Uh, on second thought, some stones are probably best left unturned.
;)

Muscles and that girl from K-Site? LMFAO!!! Nah. Muscles would have to be re-HEEEEEEly warped to be that woman, considering her other posts at K-Site.

That was a good laugh though, Squatlow.

Even in absentia, Muscles is STILL entertaining. Gotta luv it.

I always love it when we hear nice things about Tom...

I posted this story on tw.org, slow news day... :D You may notice I'm posting to James' site using my real name now..

The man's almost 30 years old and he's still showing up in Teen People. LOL!!

Well, I guess if you're gonna be on a list, ya might as well be at the top - unless it's like the FBI's most wanted list, or something. ;)

Here ya go, #1 on the list of guys to watch out for in 2006:

As if we needed Teen People to tell us that? Pfft! :p :D

Awww, that's great he made their "Who to watch out for" list. Hope to see him in some more magazines...Entertainment Weekly, People, US Weekly...anything and everything!

Okay, weak moment here (alcohol does that LOL). No matter how stressed he acts, I'm still enamored with this face...

Good catch! That does look like Fine in the foreground.

It's from Solitude, so the pic is fairly recent. I dunno (remember, alcohol weakness here), but when it comes to the modern day Superman, nobody beats Tom's appeal to me...
