Okay, weak moment here (alcohol does that LOL). No matter how stressed he acts, I'm still enamored with this face...

You're preachin' to the choir girl. As a Superman fan, there's a lot of unrelated SV matters that pains me. :(

Such a magnificent looking man. Such a "super" man...

Very true... Such a magnificent looking man.

:sigh:

Those eyes get me every time.. I am such a sucker for pretty eyes.

First I'll say something relative to the thread - His eyes are so wondrously magnetic. They draw you in and hold you. Gee.. you could almost call them.. super human. :)

Now I'll just melt into a quivering little puddle of goo... *sigh*

Okay, this has to be the funniest thing I think I've seen that might describe just why The Fog was such an awful movie....

Take a look at this guy's reaction to The Fog:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2806878138109826117&q=tom+welling

This totally cracked me up. The video is hardly a masterpiece but keep watching til the end, nice punch line to close it out.... :D

Too funny.

LOL! :D

At first I wondered if this guy was being serious or facetious and then I realised that Tom Welling is all those beautiful wonderful things that he said so he must be serious.

Full Stop. ;)

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!

Okay, by the end of that vid, I was in tears I was laughing so hard. I cringed at first 'cause I was expecting the guy to be totally facetious in a very left-handed compliment kind of way. But half-way through, I realized he was serious. And of course I nodded in agreement with him: "Dude! I TOTALLY understand where you're coming from."

That's fricken hysterical, Trip. Ronnie Larsen gets three thumbs up for making me laugh on a cold and snowy Sunday morning!

Oh, I knew he was being serious but so funny... I was laughing the whole time.

And he is so right. Tom is distracting. ;)

It's priceless.

I wonder if the guy will be watching Smallville now... ;)

He mentioned having seen it at the beginning of the vid, but I guess the whole younging down of Clark makes a big difference LOL.

I can relate to the whole distracting point though. It's all too easy to get hung up looking at the actor and therefore missing something key in the scene. For example, because there were so many characters in CBtD2, I would sit there scanning the screen looking for Tom - and end up missing something "important" in the film. Silly, I know, but I guess it depends on why you're there to see the pic in the first place. I only went for one reason, so if I missed part of the story, pffft. Big deal. I'll probably get the DVD when it comes out anyway, so they made their money off this poor sap.

Has James seen that video? If we laughed as hard as we did, he's probably gonna need oxygen. :p

ROFLAPIMP!

My family actually came running in here to see why I was laughing so hard! :D It's not just that he's got this wonderful dramatic delivery.. he's just SO FREAKIN' RIGHT! He GETS IT! The faces he made for whenever Tom was on the screen... Bwahahaha!!

Too funny... Good find, triplet. ;) You should ask the guy and James if you can post that on TW.ORG. Seriously.. it's something every TW fan would get a HUGE kick out of seeing. I bet even Tom would smile (and blush). :)

He actually said he'd only seen a few clips from it and some ads, but that he didn't watch the show.

I had been half-tempted to post a link on TW.org (slow news week) but wasn't sure about that so I asked James what he thought about it but he didn't think it was a good idea cause of the guy's language.

It is kinda creepy in a way too, if you think about it, but James agreed that the clip was funny.

This guy's web site is hiarious... Serene, you should take a look. I think you'd get a kick out of it.

Here's a slightly better qualtiy version of the same file, if you want to keep a copy of the original:

Oh yeah.. language, I guess I forgot about that.

Dude..you know me. Of COURSE, I've already perused his site... Heh. ;)

edit: oh wait.. I can't play that one for some reason. Quicktime issues... That's okay, the original one is funny enough. :)

Ah yes, good catch. Probably not something you want to promote. James' is right (as usual). ;)

Maybe it was creepy because of the fisheye presentation in the vid, with the guy's face being so huge on the screen, I dunno. I didn't really find what he said being creepy. He didn't' come off like a stalker or anything. It was very humorous, in an over-the-top geeky sort of way. Any one of us would say the same thing but not many have the square ones to post a video on the Net. LOL

I'd bet Welling would be flattered. He seems to take that kind of admiration in stride and shrugs it off with a smile in interviews. He's pretty humble when it comes to that sort of thing.

Try right clicking that link and click on "save target as" and see if that doesn't help.

The main improvement between the streamed version and the quicktime one is improved sound quality and the image quality is a little better too.

Well, I don't think what he said was creepy really but how he taped it using his web cam...

I guess Craig thought it was creepy too, because he deleted the thread I found that link in.

Thanks for that second link Triplet, it was a better sound quality. Its just making me hang out big time for the Fog on DVD.

My daughter is 10 and her birthday is coming up... she wants The Fog DVD.

She's not as big a fan of Tom as I am but she and I are the only ones who want to see CBTD 2. Still haven't seen it, too busy moving around the holidays.... :(

I'll have to make time to see it this week before it leaves theatres.

Oh my goodness that was comical! For some reason, I couldn't get the volume to raise, but I still got the gist of what he said. And he's right! That is why I think Tom would be perfect playing a gorgeous stalker/killer/bad guy. We know he is capable of stepping up to the plate and playing bad when called for...he's got the looks and a boatload of charisma. I think that'd be a perfect vehicle for him. The unexpected psychopathic killer. Of course, rated R. ;)

Mine too. What date. Mine's the 18th so The Fog comes out afterwards. :(

Make sure you get there. Its a real fun movie and he's so gorgeous in it.

He probably would, but I dont think I want to see him that way. I dont think I could handle seeing anything bad happening to or with him.

Hers is in February, I think I'm covered. :D

Yeah, I'll have to see what I can do about that....

I think he'd be great as a villain. Pat had a great idea about him maybe playing a vampire.

He'd be great as a vampire, with all the sexual connotations surrounding that and he's got prominent canines to begin with... it would help the prosthetic dentist's work a whole of a lot easier to make the fangs! :D

I'd watch the guy in anything... even if he starred in "The Wiggles do Broadway," I'd be there opening night. :)

But I would dearly looove to see him play a bad guy. I've said this before, but I think he'd be great in an evil on the inside, pretty on the outside kind of role.

Maybe they could remake The Boston Strangler.

And what coloured shirt would you put him in. ;) :D :supes:

You know the perfect role for Tom Welling?

Lifeguard.

In a swim suit with no shirt the whole movie. :D

And a speedo swim suit at that... :D
