Hee! I don't know if that's good or bad. I never understood the popularity of Hasselhoff, but then I never watched Babewatch either; I only know him from Knight Rider, and that was eons ago. He's in his 50's now, if I'm not mistaken (not that that's "old" or anything.

There was a story I once read about Welling in Italy. Not sure how accurate it is - maybe James can fill in the blanks or debunk the story if it is heretical, but it happened a few years ago. Was probably around SV's 2nd or 3rd seasons. It might have even been the start of Tom's realization that the world is indeed a "small" place. 'Cause if you're the star of a popular television show, people are gonna recognize you no matter where you go, even if it's in the middle of St. Peter's Sq. in Italy. My understanding is, he "attracted" the attention of quite a few fans there. LOL
