TRANSFORMERS: Twice, once on DVD and again with RIFFTRAX (Think MST3K) commentary. It actually IS done by Mike Nelson and the others from MST3K where they make fun of any and all kinds of movies

REVENGE OF THE "Help I've FALLEN and can't get up: Thrice, once in the theater and the other two times with RIFFTRAX commentary because that's the only way I can tolerate it. Oh and I saw it for the commentary so no smart jokes about me secretly liking it

I have some houseguests in town (so no gawking for me) but I convinced everyone to wander over towards the set last night. There was no filming going on but the streets were littered with Bay-hem...


Tower/dome thingy is back out there next to Jewelers Building with other basic destruction:

Around the corner (but further away from closeup picture taking...sorry for the craptastic shots) is the rubble from what will obviously be a bad day for the Unitrin Building. I combined a shot of what the top of the building looks like vs what ends up on the ground:

Finally, as we passed behind the barracades and P.A.s guarding the set, I noticed black explosive debris was all over the ground. There was a little plastic piece close to me but not close enough to reach through the barricade so I asked the Security guy if I could have it as a souvenir. He smiled but shook his head "no" so then I asked if he could accidentally kick it to me. He laughed, still saying "no" but then tossed me this from his pocket:

WOW! This was WAY better then that crap on the ground I wanted. I thanked him as he gave me a friendly nod. I have no clue about guns or bullets but I'm guessing this a bullet used for blanks. Regardless, I dig it!

As for the commentary, it was funny. I liked it when they said "Why didn't we just send Sideswipe in first before things went wrong?" I thought that too, honestly. t:

The plot was really interesting... and the characters were likable
