the whole thing with the Sun Eater was interesting...and wasn't that out of the comics??...you know the holy tomes the Transformers fanboys constantly refer to as the only source material that counts

Actually,I think that was from one of the G1 episodes.

It's the episode called 'Changing Gears'. It wasn't the Sun Eater but it was a machine used to suck energy out of the sun. The device was called the Space Needle.

Yes, and we should all respect others' opinions, whether we agree or not. :yay:

I was driving down Illinois Ave where they're using that empty lot across from the AMC Theater as another "Transformers 3" storage area and saw this sitting behind a production truck:

Now, maybe some Chicagoan is sick of Bay screwing up their neighborhood and is expressing themselves. But I'd heard about the "anti-Transformers" sentiment the humans could be having in this movie ... perhaps this proves it. :word:

I think the red headed robot is the Ferrari. Someone on Bay's board suggested that 'Enzo' would be a cool name for him. I agree. That is, unless it turns out to be Hot Rod.

I certainly hope it's the latter.

cause poor chicago gets to have another big movie that highlights their fair city and their economy gets a nice little boost. If a few road closures are a bother bring production up to toronto after the G20(something worthy of complaining about) we could use it

It's part of the plot.... those sprayed signs have been seen on the set since the first set of set images appeared....

Thanks, cool. Yeah, I'd been out of town the 1st couple weeks of shooting and hadn't seen every morsel of pics and news so I wasn't sure if this had been common knowledge for as long as it has. :word:

Also, I heard they're going to be shooting at the Old Post Office on Van Buran this Monday-Wednesday; 7am-10pm (the place that doubled as Gotham Police Dept and the Bank Heist in "The Dark Knight") where pyrotechnics are said to be present. Perhaps I may wander over there at some point in life.

There is stuff going on at the Old Post Office atm... though someone on TFW2005 had security guard try and scare him into not taking any photos... so be warned LOL

this is hte last movie. so of course they will have the biggest final fight with tons of robots.

Update from Nelson on the FireTruck

I think fandom will faint when they find out who this firetruck is.

It's gonna be like when people saw Optimus Prime for the first time--with flames.

I really hope they don't reveal the name until the movie premieres.

And it's not Inferno, Hot Spot, or Pyro. You'll see.

Cock teasing bastardos!!!! Ultra Magnus?? Omega Supreme?? Zeta Prime?? who...tell me who??!!!

Ironhide!!! :woot:

I'm guessing the fire truck is Ultra Magnus.

Im just going to wander around downtown Chicago grabbing people and asking "Who is the firetruck??!!! dammit, you tell me who??!!!"

:whatever:

Yeah, movies can be deceiving, but for effs sakes. You honestly sound like a complete *** just for that remark imo,if the guy wants to feel very optimistic about the movie then let him. If I was him I would too, especially if I was one of the people who was really disappointed with TF:ROTF.

Slow your roll down there cow boy, in fact, get off my case. I was just wondering why he/she felt that way. The track record left by ROTF should make most air on the side of caution this time around.I sounded like an ***, get over it and move on with your life.

You were trying to play the role of the damn emotion police. And by most, you mean the fanboys on the internet, basically. And if anyone should movie on with something,it's you, from the Bayformers series.

Now this means there are 15 Autobots and 6 Decepticons so far, that we know of.
