BTW Ebert liked TF1 but didn't like robots fighting in TF1 and cause TF2 has more robot fighting he doesn't like TF2. If TF2 had more human interaction than TF1 Ebert would probably liked it.

Film Critics just offer their opinion when they review movies. That's all it is just his or her opinion. All that matters is what you think

He didn't like the fighting because it suffered from major blur factor because of how intricate the robots looked ..... I sort of agree in that department.

I respect when they review a Well-acted, great, smart movie High, but once a movie is ALL about action/special effect, they can't stand it. They just don't like Action/FX movies that much.

Have they ever?

Funny thing is, Batman Dark Knight is really good, but TDK did not have much Special Effects, and action is certainly much much less/different than these transformer's.

They just DON'T get it! A movie CAN also be great when it's Action-packed NONSTOP!!!

It needs NO masterpiece plot or acting!

From what you guys say, the autobots are the badass mother****ers in this movie and all the decepticons have are numbers. Even with the Fallen and Devastator on their side they stand no chance. So i dont get how the autobots serve no purpose in this movie.

Ugh...based on these reviews I am DEFINITELY skipping this. Ill watch it on tv. I was contemplating whether I should have watched it or not but the overall consensus is that it is much worse than the first...and honestly the clips were very cringeworthy.

To be fair though, the general audience has always enjoyed seeing a big, dumb, and loud movie. It's not like this trend is anything new. Why do you think Bay's still in business? The huge success of this movie shouldn't surprise anyone.

Oh I know. It's basically the fault of people like him and Roland Emmerich and Jerry Bruckheimer. I'm not saying it's a surprise, but it's still disgusting. Sometimes big, dumb, loud movies can be fun. But when they're infused with misogyny, racism, gung-ho warmongering and vulgarity packaged as "cool, dumb fun for everyone!" it's a serious cultural issue.

Go to town on those films not something that's just basically there to sell toys.
