Amazon.com: What about Seaguy?
Grant Morrison: The final volume of Seaguy, which I’m actually working on right now and it wraps up the story--that’s actually my favorite thing I’ve ever written.
Amazon.com: Wow.
Grant Morrison: By the time it comes out, I’m hoping people might agree [laughs]. No one’s quite agreed yet.
Hey everyone. Just want to clear up any confusion about what I'm working on lately:
Joe the Barbarian has been finished for about 3 weeks. The art was turned into the printer last week, so the book will come out in March as currently scheduled. Thanks for putting the word out to those people who think the delays are me and not the writer.
I'll be starting a 5 issue mini of American Vampire with Scott Snyder in March. Really excited about this one. Scott and I are drinking buddies and have tossed some ideas around for story and it's going to be a killer series.
Punk Rock Jesus is a book I'm doing for Vertigo. Because Vampire hasn't started yet, I'm working on PRJ for now. Once Vampire is over, I'll finish the rest of PRJ for (hopefully) a 2012 release. PRJ and Vampire will fill my entire 2 year contract with DC.
And here's the description of PRJ for those who don't know:
In the year 2019, a major broadcasting company creates a new reality show of Jesus Christ by cloning him from the Shroud of Turin. As the show continues through the years, mayhem ensues between different types of viewers: the fanatical Christian right who want the clone dead, politicians worried about the power Jesus might have over voters (one day), and scientists who think the whole thing is a lie. Eventually the show collapses and the young clone has a breakdown when the show "eliminates" his mother because of dropping ratings. He rejects all the lies he's been told, becomes as atheist, runs away, and fights the power by starting a punk band called The Flack Jackets. His bodyguard is the main character in this whole epic—and ex IRA terrorist who notices an alarming amount of similarities between the clone's struggle and his own struggle against the oppression of Northern Ireland during the 1980s.
That's it for now. I'll keep posting PRJ once a week, so enjoy.

Hmm, well, it says it's a one-shot. Probably means it'll be on an irregular schedule. Should be pretty good, though.
I think originally, when on DC's website, it was set for the same date, buy your assessment is probably more accurate.Translation: "We told Diamond it'd be out soon to get 'em off our back, but don't hold your breath."![]()
"I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to do it, but I burn for the chance to bring on a big, giant, mutated kaiju monster at some point!"
