This movie takes place after Krillen & Goku have met. In fact, it takes place after he's met all of them which includes Tien as well.

to the guy who said he never saw an asian guy wear fubu: fubu is a korean company.

and i think joon park may be the best casting in this movie. he may have to wear a wig or something; yamcha's hair is LONG. but they might just do the short hair style he has in the newer eps.

Joon Park is a great choice but he isn't the best casting choice for the entire movie. Emmy Rossum & James Marsters are the best choices but I guess it's all just a matter of opinion.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure if he's not too good at English he'll practice so that he sounds good enough to be understood for this movie. I'm sure he'll get better with English as more movies are made.

The guy grew up in America. Only reason he went back to Korea was because a talent agency scouted him and he joined a Korean band.

Well according to the casting sheets Yamcha and Bulma will start a relationship during the course of the film

I'm expecting Yamcha to have some sort of fight with Goku, or to fight some henchmen, or for him to get pummeled at the World Tournament. Any would be fine

I just hope we see some sort of Wolf Fang Fist at one point

He'll definitely have a fight with Goku and maybe one of Piccolo's henchmen

I want Yamcha to be involved in all of the movies, fighting. I don't want him to wimp out like in the manga & anime. I want to see him being strong when taking a beating & becoming even stronger. I want them to change Yamcha, Krillen, & Tien becoming less than side-kicks in the DBZ movies.

I want Yamcha to fight in as many battles as possible in these movies. He's a great character & I'd hate to see him wasted by him only being in cameos.
