The Order: 1886

Talk of this only being 5 hours long. If true, what were they doing for 4 years?

Looking forward to playing it even if it's not too long.

Yeah, I've read that gameplay (not including story/cutscenes) is between 8-12 hours long (depending on how much you explore each area). That's cutting it pretty short for me - I think around 20 hours is what single player games should strive for at full retail price (without sacrificing gameplay/story quality to get those hours of course). So I'm bummed that it'll be short, but hopefully it'll have a high replay value.

Yeah, serious replay value has made many shorter campaigns equivalent to other games' longer campaigns for me.

I just looked up ISS - a game I thought was extremely short and it turns out it averages around 10 hours. And when that happened, my immediate thought was that I wouldn't have gotten my money's worth if I paid $60 for it.

So yeah... if this is just around that, I'll probably feel the same way about it.

Can you explore? This looks extremely linear. I guess all that slow walking will add up in terms of time. :hehe:

The spanish guy who has uploaded a few videos said that he completed it in 13 hours
A lot of people seem to have this game.

The game is very linear, but there's apparently nooks and crannies to find stuff in.

Unless you are going around and collecting everything and doing all the side stuff, ISS is not 10 hours. One can easily complete the main story in about 5-7. It was short and most defintely shorter than previous Infamous games

you're only further proving my point, havok.

Silly billy this is why you wait until it's reduced, no point in wasting your money.:yay:

Inpatients in this case costs money, nothing worst than dropping $60 on a game and then a few hours later thinking dam I wish I waited.
Eh. 60 bucks isn't much for me. It's more of the principle. Still, I've got some PS3 games lying around that I never play I can trade in.

For those looking to get this at BB, next week, you can purchase it with a $20 PSN card for $5

hours later? Thats within time period for price adjustments/returns. Its weeks later that would leave you out of luck
He means "few hours later" as in playing and finishing the game in a few hours, not the amount of time it takes for the price to drop.

:cwink:can you send me $60 to my PayPal account please so I can enjoy this gorgeous but short linear game?

A $20 PSN card normally costs $20. If you purchase one in the same transaction as the game, you can get the card for $5 instead
Ah, thank you very much. I did not know that. I think I will be doing just that. Could I possibly get your source Havoc? I can't find anything on Best Buy.
