I saw something once that said Cyclops would have the ability to travel time if he hadn't had the injury to his head, I mean I suppose Cable would have gotten it from some where but where does this fact fall in?

I don't recall hearing about time travel, but I know had he not hit his head, he would have control over his optic blasts. Although, it might be nice if they attribute the time traveling tendencies of the kids to Scott's DNA. So far, Rachel and Nathan (and Stryfe and X-Man) have all had Jean's powers and not an ounce of Scott to their characters, aside from a few peronality traits.

Then again, the Askani were capable of traversing time without assistance from machinery, but they were all highly adept psychics under Rachel's tutelage, which falls back in the psionics category, which is Jean. Hmm...do you remember where you read that, phoephoe?

Yeah I don't remember where I saw it any more I just thought about it last night.

And I was thinking about this whole Cyclops thread thing.

I am a part of another fan site that revolves around a television show and the forum in which we talk about a certain actor in the show is in his characters forum.

For instance his name is Roy Dupuis and we talk about him in Michael's Office. (Michael Samuel was his character on LFN) and that was even past tense. The show is long gone and we still use it for him.

I don't want to get in the middle of every thing but I thought the purpose of putting this thread in the X-World Forum means that its anything related to X-Men, I mean we aren't putting it in the X-3 forum so its not in the wrong forum and James Marsden is related to X-Men and still current, so technically we are posting correctly along with the Storm thread and the Wolverine thread.

I hope there isn't any one that believes these people are their characters. That would just be too delusional but they are related to X-Men soooo.....

Other wise I'm really stumped on the hub bub, bub.

I have a goofy question.

Does any one find it odd that Cyclops's car is in the
sub-basement of the mansion in the hallway sideways in front of Cerebro?

I mean I understand that it is a set on a sound stage and that some poor sap had to remove a wall to get it in there but the picture itself doesn't make sense, If that is where Cyclops has been driving it he doesn't need a licence. LOL

Sure is a pretty car though.

Thing is this. If they're supposed to be about the actor, you people should have named it for the actor, so I wouldn't have been confused about location in the first place.

I mean, if you're going to name a thread for Cyclops or Storm, one would think you'd talk about Cyclops or Storm, not James Marsden or Halle Berry, who only played them for a very brief moment in the X-Men's 40-plus year history. If you wanted to discuss James Marsden, why didn't you name it James Marsden Drool Thread or whatever so I wouldn't have had this confusion in the first place?

It's about Cyclops, and any topic referring to the character, his history, or his numerous reincarnations. Sometimes we talk about the pants. Sometimes we talk about his car. Sometimes we talk about other career news for the guy who played Cyclops. Sometimes, pejo enlightens us with comic trivia most of us are not that familiar with. That's four (4) different topics to start with.

Now, if we were to combine each topic under one (1) thread, there'll be no need for the three (3) others.

And I assume it works, since the one (1) thread in question is 176 pages and counting.

I doubt having the thread under one title bothers anyone. If you like it, post. If you don't, don't post. It's as simple as that.

Ant has a point. If I were to look up Halle Berry news on the X-Men forum, I'd most likely head for the Storm thread. If I like James Marsden news, I'll head for the Slurpy. There's no need to have a dozen separate threads all cross-referencing each other.

Think of it this way: Do all the separate "What you want in X3" threads over at the X3 forum deserve separate threads if one of them talks about Beast, the other Angel, the third Xavier's wheelchair, the fourth what color hair Jean should have......etc?
