Okay thats where I seen it then. i definitely remember Jean with the Annie Lennox hair cut :( . I think I read part of one online on the Marvel Site ages ago. Haven't personally bought or read Ultimate though.

Well , I came back form cinema ( I saw X2 ... again ... ) and I saw two things that came to me atention : the engagement ring and some blood on Cyclops face after prison fight ...

1o. Was Jean using her engagement ring on her left hand ??? I had the impression that she wasn't using ... what do you think ???

2o. After Lady Deathstrike ( i don't know how to write ) kicked him on the face , we can see some blood caming out of his nose ... :( :( :(

And about his uniform in prison , I think he is using a shirt before the uniform ... maybe is to limit the contact of body and leather ... I don't know ...

Dany -- I'm a bit confused by the wording of your question. Do you mean she had an engagement ring on her left had and you wondered why the left? Or that she didn't, and you wondered why she wasn't wearing one? In X1, she was wearing a ring on her left hand (you can see it in the scene where her hands are resting on Wolverine's shoulders and Scott interupts).

Anyway, if it was a question about why the left, here in the States and Canada (and much of Western Europe) engagement and wedding rings are traditionally worn on the left. I'm not sure where you happen to live. :-) But I know this is different from Orthodox Christian countries, where the ring(s) are worn on the right hand instead.

(So folks, if you go to Greece, and you want to see if the lovely gent or lady is married, look on the RIGHT hand. (g))

Is that maybe the confusion? I didn't notice a ring on her hand in X2, but I wasn't looking that closely. :)
 
Oh , sorry ... I wanted to ask why she wasn't wearing her engagement ring at all ... I looked in both her hands and didn't see it ...

Well i saw in X1 that Jean was using her engagement ring but not in X2 ... in that scene of the museum , when she hugs Scott and put her hand behind of his neck , she isn't wearing the ring ...

Here in brazil , the engagement ring goes on the right hand and when you marry they change to the left one ...

This is one thing that I didn't like about the movie ... I already wrote this in another thread ... it's just unfair ... they are engaged for pete's sake ...
