Well , I agree , but Storm knows how tho fly in the X - jet ...

I think that it was Wolvie that supported him more ... more than the others

Dany
But he'd still be the co-pilot, and he's probably better at flying the jet.

And Superhero Joe, you just made me cry. :(

~Liz

yeah , can be ... :( :( :(

But this jet doesn't have automatic pilot ???

Dany

It must of been tough for him the first time he sleept alone in the bed he sheard with Jean. If he slept. :(

I was think about this scene right know ... he's crying all night ... huging some clothe or her pillow ... :( :( :(

Oh , I better stop here ... I'm getting depressed ... :( :( :(

Dany

They were headed for Washington... Unless they have a built-in course plotter, they'd have to fly the jet manually to get there. I think. But then, I don't know how the X-Jet works. :D

I wish Cyclops could give me lessons. :D :p ;)

~Liz

Yeah ... sounds good to have him as our flying instructor ... but do you think that we would learn something or just stay there, looking and with our mouth open for him ??? :D :) :p :) :D

Oh , another thing ... Wolvie didn't like that Jean and Storm turned the jet upside down ... what do you think that Cyke would do to him ??? Wolvie would be so sick after ...

Dany

Cyclops would definately do it to him! :D

Over and over and over again..... Just to spite him...

...I would, too... :D

Remember the X-Jet from X1?...

"Grab the joystick, baby..." :D

Talk about a flying lesson... :D

*slaps herself*

*Wake up, Liz....* ;)

~Liz
Me too. I can see him being all strong and "keeping-it-together" infront of everyone else in the mansion. Then I can see a scene of him getting into bed and looking over at the empty pillow missing her, maybe grabbing and holding the pillow or turning over so he doesn't have to face it :( Then the following morning he leaves the students behind at breakfast and takes a walk in the garden. Stops off at their favourite tree or spot in the garden, where he has a bit of a chat to "her" (You know, "I wish you were here to see such-n-such .." etc) and then Jean appears from the trees smiling at him......

The question is do you think Xavier will tell him that she hasn't exactly gone? Or will he think she's changed so we shouldn't raise Scott's hopes....

I think it really comes down to one thing I guess now. I think in X3 they need to show why he's the leader. They need to show that he can make the right decisions, you know he knows the "path" to take, so to speak, and that he's good with strategy. I don't think they've done that enough. There were too many times in X2 that it felt like every suggestion he made got shot down by someone else. Maybe I was just paying more attention to those bits.

Maybe , if he tell Scott abou Jean not being dead , he will say that she is very different , changed ... and that Scott has to be strong ...

True. In X1, there was the briefing scene before Xavier used the sabotaged Cerebro, and the scene where he asked Storm to get him up to the torch, the scene where he asks Storm to take out Magneto with a lightning bolt. In X2, there was the briefing scene at Xavier's office before Logan got back, the entrance to Cerebro where he met Nightcrawler.....

Someone was always questioning his decisions, like he had no idea over what he was doing. We need to see him in full Leader Mode.

Cyclops is a pansy perhaps?

I'm not saying he is...just perhapsing.

Cyclops was underused damnit. My favorite X-Man was underused. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least Pyro wasn't underused. Thank God.

this, a like a lot, i would love to see this in X3:cyclops:

Maybe after the X-Men have found Jean, Xavier could ask Hank McCoy for medical expertise on Jean's altered state.

That would introduce a new mutant, as well as keeping X3 Scott/Jean/Logan centered.

~Liz

I don't like Cyclops like all you ladies here, but I want more Cyclops leadership dammit!

Remember the rumors when Cyclops was supposedly going to die in X2?

Vaguely. But it was pretty obvious they were only rumors. ;)

~Liz

What rumors ??? Oh , I wouldn't be cool if Cyclops die in the movie ... :( :( :(

Dany

There were rumors a few months back that someone would die in the movie. Then Cyclops's name came up, and suddenly everyone thought he'd die...

So I think we can all agree that Cyke needs some serious leadership development by X3 regardless of whether you're a cyclops fan or not! :D

Oh and thanks liz for the recaps of all the instances form X1. I'd totally forgotten about them... though maybe I just repressed them...

I was hoping...;)

What exactly would you have Cyclops do that would be considered "leadership"? Order people around??

Cyclops: Wolverine go!
Wolverine: Make me, bub!
Cyclops: Jean, use your power, try to....oh I forgot, you died...wahhh!!!!

Sorry :)

Yes yes. There's some suggestions on in this very thing over in the "Only one more character"thread . I'll link to it as you may not have gone in that thread. Its a completely mad circus out there in the Spoiler forum at the moment. Completely crazy i say.

Exactly the opposite of what they're doing to him now. ;)

yes yes :D And simply ordering people round isn't good leadership. He has to be a good leader.
