Actually, I'm well aware of that -- why he wears the glasses. But you're assuming that his mutation didn't change his eyes. The trigger in Scott's BRAIN was damaged from the concussion. His eyes would still have had to have undergone a physical mutation to become conduits for the force blasts, just like his body had to, in order for it to absorb solar radiation in the first place. He's a big solar battery. (X-Rays of Scott must turn out *white*.) I think it's a bigger mistake to assume that he still *sees* the same way that you and Ido. These changes would be internal. IF his brain hadn't been damaged, on the surface, his eyes would probably look the same except when the power was "on." Though whether they're brown or blue would be the question. <G> More seriously, because he can't turn the power off, at the present time, his eyes are red (the whole thing, like Mystique's eyes are yellow).

Actually, I was trying to be funny instead of critical. My real reason is that I don't like how many message boards format quotes. I find their appearance interrupting to the flow of the text, so I tend not to use it. Personal preference, not an attempt to be rude. I don't think it really matters much, as long as the attribution is to the correct person and set apart from the response. It would be rude to attribute a quote to the wrong person.

I like how in the comics (Uncanny) that when Jean does hold his power back, they deliberately never let us see his eyes. They always have him looking away or at Jean. I wonder if they deliberately drew him that way to avoid the issue. Or are there other instances where Scott could take his glasses off other than when Jean was Phoenix?

FYI: Cyclops doesn't see red all of the time. When he wears his ruby-quartz visor, he see's yellow.

It's true! Cyclops is/was cheating on Jean Grey telepathically w/ Emma Frost, and Emma made him see her in red, but then Scott told her that he see's yellow through the lenses, and then Emma says "I just wanted to set the mood". Hehehe!

With Jean gone, shouldn't Cyke get a girlfriend? Like Emma Frost or Dazzler!?! And then when Jean comes back...ooh!

Oh , I remember ... Jimmy had to tun her back , but i knew she was just teasing him and was looking for what she was going ... it was good , even Jimmy liked ...

I, personally , loved the interection that Jimmy and Famke ( behind the cameras ) had together in X1 and in X2 ... I think they became good friends ...

seriously people Jean and Scott intensely love eachother...why am i the only one that gets this???

You aren't the only one ... I see that too ... in the comics , the already had to pass for a lot of things : Jean's " death " , Scott's "death " , Emma Frost , Cable , etc. and they are still together ... why ? Because they love it other ...

And I don't know , Logan's last sentence to Scott after they leaved Xavier's office was : " She made a choice ... she chose you " ... this mean that he knew that he didn't have a chance with her ...

In another scene, Logan wanted to know where theirrelatioship would be ... when Jean said she loved Scott , she was looking at Logan's face and when he kissed her , she said:

(J)Don't force me doing this
(L) Doing what ?
(J) This ...

He knew in that scene that she really loved Cyke because she felt being forced to kiss him ... if you see , he had his hand on her face before the kiss , but she didn't lean against him , actually , she never touched him with her hand ... and he respected it ...

and the prove is when he was laying down ... he was a little sad ( before Mistique enter in his tend )

For me , this triangle is finished now ...

Technically all that will do is bleach out the photopigments for red in your cones. When you look at things afterwards things will seem to have no red. That recovers though. Though maybe .... in the long-term, i.e., if that was persistent ...maybe you might find some neural re-organisation in the occipital lobe of the brain where the "visual cortex" is (so you might process colour differently). Also I'm not sure what it would to the other cones on the retina which are sensitive to other wavelengths of light and which aren't stimulated for a long time .....

Yeah , I tought it too , but when i saw the movie for the third time ( now I will stop ... I will wait it on DVD ) , I studied more that scene ... when she said this in the second time she was looking down , because she didn't want to see the desapointment on Logan's faces ... and after this she re - enter on the jet to continue her work ...

I know that Jean is atracked to Logan ... her atraction is a mix of curiosity , of doing something that no one would aprove , of fear , of something dangerous , interest etc. ... but he want her as his woman and she doesn't want it ... because of Scott .

Remeber what they were talking before this ?

He questioned her love towards Scott and she didn't like it ... and tha't why she said the famous line about dangerous men and good girls and boys ...

And like you said , she didn't want to do anything she would regret ... kiss Logan ( he was the one that kissed her ... she kissed him back but for some seconds ) was a thing that she shouldn't be doing ... she regreted it in the same moment that Scott said that he loved her after their fight but didn't say it to him ... because he would be upset and they didn't have time to fight there ...
