I have, it's on my web page. It's an adult fic, though.

Does anybody have any Cyke pics when he's NOT wearing his visor? BTW, what exactly is a Cyclops slurper?

When you reach 3000, SG, when you reach 3000... :p

Here's one of Scott (sorta) without his visor:

Liz -- I'm not sure, on Accidental 19. It's done, and so is a chunk of 20. But I need to write a certain series of scenes (which I can't explain without SERIOUS spoilers), to see how much space it takes, before I know how I'm going to be cutting up these final chapters, whether I have 3, 3 and a half (ugh) or 4. It's looking like I may have 4, but I just can't be sure. If I do have 4, then 19 and 20 (the interpolated chapter) will be posted at once, the 21, 22 and the epilogue will go up at once. Right now, I'm still running with the assumption it's 3 chapters.

The thing about writing the ends of novels is that it's not always clear how much room one needs. I know WHAT has to be shown (the events) but I'm not sure how much space it takes to actually write out. :)

As for Interstate 60, if you're in the US, you'll have to get lucky enough to have it show at a local (usually indie and foreign film) theater. We happen to have one here in town, and I'm a fan of foreign film anyway, so I noticed it was coming and got to see it. But it's not out on video or DVD ... yet. Hopefully it will be soonish.

Btw, on buying films overseas ... I'm NOT sure about DVDs, but you *can't* buy a European video (VCR) and run it on an American player. You'll have to get it converted (costs anywhere between $10-20). I have a couple of friends who are actors in Italy, and I have most all their movies, but I had to get each one converted. But as most of them were made before DVDs, and the most recent (DVD) ones happen to have US released, I don't have a clue about European DVDs. (g)

Still, it's something to beware of. Barby had to either convert them for me on their player (that does both), or I had to get them done here. It lowers the quality, unfortunately. :(

Neither ILC or myself are from the US, so that shouldn't be a problem.

You can't buy a VHS tape without converting it, but you can make a VHS in Europe and still be able to play it in the US. That's because it isn't standard to have anything but PAL format VHS over here, but it is possible to have a NTSC- format playing VCR. So converting VHS tapes doesn't take anything more than a SCART wire and two sets of VCRs. :)

DVDs should be compatible only within the same region, however.

Thanks, Liz. I think that's what Barby did. They had a VCR that played both formats, and she'd often copy one to the other for me, before sending it over.

DVDs should be compatible only within the same region, however.

So it looks as if DVDs will have similar problems? Man, I wish they'd settle on ONE format (sigh). I'm a fan of foreign film and it's extremely frustrating, since there are a bunch of Italian movies I quite like but just aren't available in the US. (sigh)

DVD's already have similar "problems". You can't play region 1 DVD on a region 2 player, to my knowledge. The region lock helps the studios with problems with the movies' release dates, and the distributors with their exclusive marketing. It is possible to "hack" some players to play DVDs for all regions. Don't ask me how that's done, though. :)

but you can buy multi-region DVD players and they play all regions and no hacking is involved....:D :D

and nice pic liz :D :cyclops:
