No your wrong. Magnus is in the cast of the new animated series, he's Optimus's direct superior. Hence he'll have a toy, which Hasbro has promised will be a unique mold. Not an Optimus repaint.

they are doing a new classics magnus.

As far as I know for fact the only definate new molds for Magnus are from the new show and the Titanim....they may to a remold of the smaller prime from the movie line.........the so-called new classic mold is a rumur and would only be a ad on armor/trailer if they do it.

It's not really a cop-out. A solid 1/4 of the original G1 cars were repaints/remolds. And Sideswipe is going to be a remold of Sunstreaker. The concept pics they have showed as much.

So if they make molds of Prowl, Ironhide, Hoist, Inferno, and Sideswipe. Then repaints or remolds net you, Bluestreak, Smokescreen, Ratchet, Trailbreaker, Grapple, Jazz, and Red Alert.

The only ones that have potential to really suffer are the ones without repaints like Tracks and Skids. Wheeljack you could get from BB's mold.

Now as for the Dinobots. 3 are bound for Animated, Grimlock (who's Dino head looks somewhat like Trapjaw), Slag, and Swoop. Add to that Hasbro doesn't want to do animal alt'ed Classics in the first assortments. Means that if they did do Dinos it would only be Sludge and Snarl and not till 2009.

I would acept a repaint of Classic Track as Wheeljack as long as they give him a new head.And I can see the Ironhide mold also being used for Skids.

I FINALLY got my Encore Megs. So awesome, he even comes with 20 pellets that he can shoot!! I didn't think he did.

The original U.S. release had the heavy spring removed in the chamber so anything you would try to fire would only shoot out a few inch'es.When I was a kid we would open him up and replace the missing spiing with one from a peace of furniture and then get small rocks and fire them at each other.Hurt like hell.

They were hard to get in the U.S. after the first year figures were released.There was a case in the Bronx NYC, that most people believe to be a urban legend, where a kid was shot by a police officer after he point a G1 Megatron in gun mode at the cop.I dont remember if the kid lived or died but I know the very next day the schools put out notes to all parents about the dangers of allowing your child to have a Transformers Megatron fugure and to not allow your kids to bring one to school.It was common for kids to bring in Transformers and GI Joe toys to school to play with at resses cause in most city schools there was no play ground or enough supervision to allow the kids to go out and play.

That sucks.....I dont know how far away you are from where I am....I know I'm about 2 hours away from Toronto Canada.I'm In Rochester NY. but If I can I'll help you out.I wont ask for anything extra just what it cost to buy and ship.

Not too bad, thanks. Looks like that Grimlock I won on eBay is well & truely lost in the mail (well done Royal Mail!) so the guy's gonna refund me my money. Which isn't so bad, I guess.
