Wow. That Prime is sweet. How is he and how much was he?

that prime is from that Greatest Battles two pack that comes with that green megatron. i hear both the optimus and megatron are quite fragile.

That Prime was originally part of a Toys r Us exclusive under the Transformers Classic's 2 pack of Classic G1 Prime and a new take on the G2 Megatron look for the classic toyline.

The two were recently re-boxed in the new Transformers Universe toyline and a $hi+ load of them were avalible at "Big Lots" two weeks after X-mas.

The last time I went shopping there were a hand full left in stock.

I've heard that too, but I haven't had any problems with my Prime. Megatron, however, has a weapon (if you can call it that) that used to fall off quite regularly at the drop of a hat, until I superglued it on. No complaints anymore.

Prime's alt. mode is an utterly horrible truck, though. He's got great light-piping and his robot mode is, in my opinion, second only to MP Prime, in terms of how close it is to G1's look; so he and Megs were a pretty good investment overall.

Yeah, who keeps them in vehicle mode all the time anyway? Its the robot mode that really counts I guess.

So the Tranformer Henkei's (Takara's name for Classics TF's) are out now. And I still can't get over how craptastic toon accurate deco's look on Starscream and Bumble Bee.

I'm not overly thrilled with the Classics Starscream to begin with...but if you're a G1 purist, I could see the attraction...as long as you don't already have the Classics.

I already have all of them and I'm still buying Henkei Megatron and have a preorder for Henkei Space choo-choo. Now for the awesome part, Takara IS going to do the jetrons (Japanese name for the 6 'con Jets) in some form.

Can't say I'll get all that many of them. I went a little overboard last year, and while I thought they were cool then, I'm wishing I didn't have so damn many of them now.

I've always been firm when it comes to Prime and Megatron toys.
If theres something I don't like about the toy, I wont buy it.

I own MP Prime, I don't need to own another apart from the voyager class form animated as I plan on buying them all.
I don't own a Megs because I flat out refuse to settle for whats been offered so far. MP Megs was nice, but I hated the legs. I couldn;t bring myself to buy him because of that.

Animated earth mode megatron looks ****ing amazing though, if it;s as good in real life as it is in pictures then it'll be up there as one of my all time fav robots modes.

In other news, I got myself a Wheeljack Alternator for 11 pound today from argos.

So despite the fact that the spinning gimmick is not a problem in the least, it's still something that you don't like about it, even though you don't have to use it (it's ridiculously easy to forget that it's even there)?

I'd rather the £20 on the Classic Voyager Prime, which from what I've heard, is one of the best prime toys to date. (Exluding MP's).

It's not just the spinning gimmick, a friend of mine has the toy and I just don't like it.
I have my MP prime, why do I need a smaller, inferior version of the same guy if I don't like it?

Not out until July, unless you want to Travel to Ohio. Hasbro are testing the waters there and have released the first waves.

...when the topic of conversation at that point was its spinning gimmick implied that your problem with it was, in fact, the spinning gimmick; whereas the gimmick is no more of a flaw than the fact that you can spin a toy's head around 360 degrees too.

I don't like that Prime, end off. The spinnging gimmick doesn't help me like it.
I have MP prime, so apart from Animated, I don't really have a need for any other Prime toy. I just don't want one. All I was saying to the guy was he'd have been better off buying himself the Voyeger Prime insted as it's a far superior toy.

I'm not freaking out man, sorry if it came across that way.

I just don't like that toy, and I know it's because of a problem thats easily fixable, but I don't need to toy, and the fact theres something on it I don't like helps me to not waste money on it.
