You might hear him referenced, but I don't think Weaving wants to reprise the role.

He probably isn't. In an interview from about a year ago, Hugo Weaving was asked about returning to the MCU, and he said, "I have no idea." That doesn't denote concrete plans for Skull's return, but it was interesting that he didn't say, "They're not using Red Skull again."

Well considering he was absorbed into a portal by the tesseract/space stone. I think the best way to bring him back would be in Infinity War with him having been stranded in space. I think they'll go that route than just having him randomly show up on earth

and considering we now know the cube opens portals, they could easily go that direction with him

I never saw the appeal of Red Skull. I mean yeah, he's the evilest man alive, but there isn't a whole lot of "evilest" you can do and keep the movie at PG-13.

Back in NY cc I got to see trailer from civil war and I am pretty certain red skull was in a shot. But then again that figure could have been Zemo.

Of all the Marvel movies, he was the one with the most character development outside of Loki, so it's a shame that Weaving has no desire to come back.

Red Skull is still alive... but it would make no sence to bring him back in "Civil War" (, as he has to be somewhere in "space" and not on earth)

I would not expect him in "Civil War", but maybe in "Infinity War". Thanos will need some "side-kicks" to fight against.

My guess would be, that we see Red Skull earliest in phase 4...
