I wonder if the Red Skull survives and is a very old man at the time of the Avengers flick or does the Red Skull get frozen in Ice at the same time as Cap and therefore when Cap is freed at the beginning of Avengers, then the Red Skull is loosed back on the World as well.

It would nice to see the Red Skull in many Captain America and Avenger movies to come, he ranks with Magento, Dr. Doom, and Loki as one of Marvels greatest Villians.

Frozen or seemingly dead. Not an old man

It would seem that Loki will need a team of Supervillians at his disposal and the Red Skull would make would be perfect as a Earthly villian that would do Lokis bidding either willingly or unwillingly.

He survives to present day. His age is decreased due to the serum in him. He ends up changing his identity and gets plastic surgery to disguise himself. The word around Cap 2 is that he tries to impersonate the President some how. He also will not be appearing in The Avengers.

^urgh, there is no WORD about that being used in Cap 2 at all.
I shouldn't feed you, but MY GOD, you're irritating!

You're schtick is getting old now... pack it in.

Ok. On the off chance that this wasn't a statement meant to incite conflict, or just b of a troll ish nature, what are your sources for this theory?

How about if he got trapped in the cosmic cube? The only way I would see them ending the threat of that wild card is if it was used against itself.

You're they're copying the 90's Cap film argument is kind of moot when A-He doesn't go into present day for the majority of the film and B-Hyrda is in the film. Oh, and the fact that this actually has money and effort in it.

You think he'll be in the after credits scene?

He needs to return for the Avengers along with Abomination from TIH. Loki needs a team of super villains!

I think the end of the movie will make it look as if Skull (& hopefully Bucky) dies, so it'll be shock for the GA when in the sequels when Skull (& again Bucky) returns.

Hey Spider Fan, did you remove my posts from earlier today? Just askin

Yes. I felt it best to not give fuel to the fire. It's bad enough already :csad:

Im talking about Cap 2. I know that in Cap 1 it takes place in WWII. In that movie it is believed he dies at the end of the film, but in fact he escapes. He doesn't get frozen or anything. He will be old in Cap 2. Don't like it? Take it up with the writers.

In Cap 2 yes Hydra is in it, but he uses that as the vehicle for trying to impersonate the president. This could change from the time Cap 2 is released but right now thats the plan.

That's all well and good. And you have SOURCES I assume? And are not just recycling GI Joe

No he doesn't.

If Loki's got the Cosmic Cube, he don't need nobody.

I REALLY like this idea!
Then his escape from it could be the basis of a Cap sequel or even in another franchise like Thor. (or even in a Dr. Strange movie!)
It would also cover why he survives so long without aging.

I bet that you might be on to something here, Blah!

Well...yeah, but it would be pretty dull to see the Avengers vs just Loki. I'd just love to see a movie version of the Masters of Evil.

But better to see Avengers versus Loki with a cosmic Cube, an army of whatever horrors he unleashes upon a whim, and possibly a mind controlled Hulk. Save that for a squeal.

That red guy at the end of The Avengers was Thanos, not Red Skull. It'd be nice if people who don't know anything about The Avengers didn't post incorrect information.
