So, you basically get two extra episodes with the season pass? That's probably worth going for the pass then.

Those retail extras really don't seem worth an extra $15 to me, unless that Raid Mode map pack is absolutely amazing, and it comes with an outrageous amount of alt skins.

Awesome. Simply awesome. Can't wait to piss myself over Lisa and Neptune again.

Hell yea. I still can't believe this is real. Been waiting a loooooong time for this

I was hoping for $15 like RE4 and CV, but I guess considering this is the first time this'll be on something besides Nintendo consoles, it's excusable enough.

I'd of paid a full 60 without hesitation, but to be fair, the REmake is like one of my legit favorite games of all time.

I could've seen them doing that considering the situation, but thankfully they didn't.

In each new gen we are going to get a new Resident Evil definitive version lol.

Claire goes back to work in Resident Evil Revelations 2 opening

It's hard to imagine why Claire Redfield of Capcom's Resident Evil universe would put anything other than "I saved you from becoming zombie food" on her resume, but we suppose that's a pretty good attribute when you work for a human rights organization that unravels the schemes of/cleans up the damage made by terrorists using bio-weapons. Unfortunately, being such a high-profile figure also makes you a target, as evidenced by the opening scene of Resident Evil Revelations 2, which you can watch after the break.

Historically, Claire has fared well against both helicopters and men with guns, but age catches up to all of us it seems, and the lady Redfield is unable to save her place of business from attack. Community Manager Brelston writes on the Capcom Unity blog that after this scene, Claire and company wake up on a prison island with "little information, no weapons and no clear way home."

Well, at least our heroine will be in familiar circumstances when Resident Evil Revelations 2 begins its episodic tale on February 17, 2015.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2’s Raid Mode detailed
Published 1 min ago. 0 comments.

Select a character, customize them, and play co-op with a friend.
Capcom has updated the official Resident Evil: Revelations 2 website with new details on the upcoming sequel’s multiplayer Raid mode.
Players will be able to customize one of Revelations 2‘s characters, equipping them with various weapons an custom parts, and playing cooperative with a friend.
Get the details below.
The History of Raid Mode
Raid Mode began as an action-packed “shoot-and-loot” style additional mode in the previous Revelations. Players battle their way through an army of enemies on multiple stages in order to collect more powerful weapons. These weapons can be customized to their liking and then used to take on harder stages with even stronger enemies. That finely tuned and satisfying game play loop kept many a player entertained for hundreds of hours even after they had finished the game’s main campaign.
Raid Mode in Revelations 2
Player Customization – In Revelations 2, Raid Mode starts with choosing a character, and there are plenty of characters to match all tastes. After that, you’ll customize your weapons and skills to ready for deployment.

Deployment – Raid Mode has always been about collecting loot such as weapons, custom parts, and currency; in Revelations 2, you’ll also find treasure chests thrown into the mix. Remember, however, your ultimate goal is to always find and break the goal emblem at the end of each stage.

Cooperative Play – Raid Mode allows for cooperative play — including local two-player split-screen! Grab a friend and get ready to shoot your way through one of the most exciting additional modes in Resident Evil history.

The first episode of Revelations 2 will be available on February 17. Three more will launch in the weeks following, with a full disc-based release due out on March 10. Find more details on the game’s release schedule here.

EDIT: Nevermind, not relevant. Completely forgot for a second that this was a digital-only release.

I never thought we'd see Barry's daughter as a playable character.
