I'll just wait and see what happens since no other outlet from the gamers news media has put out a hint of this yet so far . So I'll just wait & see and trust but verify. I'm waiting for confirmation

but seeing Rebecca chambers back would be cool and she needs to have become a doctor of some sort to combat these4 trains of the virus she and that african doc that we saw in that remake where you were allowed to kill Leon. they'd be very crucial to ending that problem or should be.


and I want both victor and hunk to be in the series more causing more trouble since Wesker is out of the picture . and seeing that they were both still a live since raccoon it's about time they showed up. Hunk doesn't need to be the villain with the master plan, but I'm sure people will be happy to have him Victor on the other hand I can see in that role.

To add to that, if Claire is in the next one, to me that tells me the tone would shift back to the older REs as Claire is a civilian compared to the other characters who were more action focused....

My ultimate dream would be for them to design a game which featured Chris, Jill, Leon and Claire inspired by the original set of games. They can bring back some of the more minor characters in supporting roles but it would be cool to have those 4 share the spotlight in one title for once. They can give the series one final sendoff before shelving it for a few years and then coming back with a reboot.

Personally, I don't feel like you have to do one or the other. People seem so extreme about it and all, but I don't see why you can't just have a game that stands alone and still stays within the same canon.

even if they reboot some how I doubt it'll be what fans want with how the current people on this are running things. I want them to finish this series though and use characters they haven't used in a while like hunk and victor for villains and characters like Rebecca in better roles. I don't mind new people/ characters ether.

It makes sense to have that happen. but this story series needs to be concluded properly. once the reboot happens, I'm done. since the people on this right now aren't as good as the people that left to do their own thing and seem to be nuts as far as direction is concerned

as far as I'm concerned jill was on leave recovering from what wesker put her through. she should be back by now

I'd like a final game with Claire and Leon once again. I don't mind Jill and Chris, but the RE2 team is my favorite. Just conclude this convoluted mess before restarting everything, but do it right.

Reboot. RE is a convoluted mess and they should just start over fresh and simplify things with a new saga

If they reboot I would hope that they don't just rehash the old things from the first few games. Umbrella is played out at this point, and so is Raccoon City. If they reboot I'd want new protagonists taking on something new like with RE4. If they continue the story I hope that they give the current heroes an good send off. Either way it goes I hope that there is forward movement instead of going back with old ****.

Well I wouldn't make it like RE remake where its just the same old story updated to today's graphics. Id have familiar elements telling a new saga. I would use old protagonists though. Leon, Claire, Chris and/or Jill would be familiar faces and are RE mainstays IMO

in re 6 he lost most of his steroid look . I doubt we'll see that again since Weskers dead . which only done due the current heads of the franchise stating he only beefed up like that to take on Wesker since he was so strong . just don't make Wesker so overbearingly strong if your gonna retell that again or don't use him at all.

Admittedly I haven't played RE6 but Umbrella was the big motivator for everybody through the whole series and after it fell, from the stock market no less, they just seem to be more disorganized than anything. There's no focus beyond Bad Guy A gets bioweapons and Character B and company goes off to fight them. The original games was either getting out of the mansion, the city or away from creepy cross dressing twins and it was all traced back to Umbrella with the promise of an overarching story that should culminate in them taking it down. I guess I just miss that.

motivator? from what I picked up from the movie that lead into it it seem all the recent people are straggler from the old umbrella they still haven't caught yet cause Simmons had the files destroyed with the city of raccoon and that there's infighting among them cause they each have their project of virus the each want to release themselves.

It took Keven Sorbo some years to loose alot of his mass and he was a former football player he lost a lot of it since his Hercules and Andromeda days the latter of which he was looking more normal . the last time I saw him was his guest star in Hawaii 5 0 and he lost alot of it. he still muscular but more on the lean side.

I always HATED how they had Umbrella fall between games. There was so much build up in the first four titles that you would think there epic battle between the main protagonists and the company but hen RE4 opens up and its already all over. WTF?

according to that movie before 6 and revelations those people are all still Umbrella. just in hiding and using other names til the come out and claim they're the neo version of the old . Anyway it's obvious they didn't catch any of the people that financed the old one. and bot victor and hunk are still at large just not seen.

you should find that movie as I said it showed remnants of umbrella fighting each other for the latest strain of a virus which lead to the terrible done 6 .
but it's obvious from all the info capcom has put out there are splintered parts of the old Umbrella and they are fighting each which that move showed and there's that thing with Simmons be in killed by someone in his own side higher then him in the game of 6. and revelations with jill story the terrorist group had ties to the old umbrella but called themselves (Neo)new when Simmons had raccoon burned by nukes all the files with the people that financed Umbrella and more were destroyed so it make sense why this is happening. And they're not altogether since then ether.

I was a bit annoyed Jill didn't even get a name drop in RE6. There was a time in that game when Pierce had enough of attitude Chris was having and name dropped Fenn. When he did that Jill should have been included in the same breath. Also, I wonder if Jill comes back, will she be 'enhanced' some how. Given that small amounts of T-virus she was infected with was interacting with whatever crap Wesker gave her let to a cosmetic change (hair, eye, skin color bleach)

Yeah. I like the excuse people used too "Well, they explain it in the opening cut scene."

Yes. That 1 min Leon talks about Umbrella's fall was perfectly fine.. 3 games worth of build up and having Leon simply mention that they took down Umbrella was enough satisfaction.

I swear it's part of the reason I don't LOVE RE4 as much as everyone else. The other part of that is the games a glorified escort mission and I loath escort missions.
