Resident Evil 6 is absolute dog****. Why am I doing this to myself again?
I went into that game thinking "It can't be as bad as people say" and throughout a majority of at least the Leon campaign I was like "It's not THAT bad". Problem is it's really long and by the 2nd campaign you are already starting to feel over it. Then you have another 10 hours or so left. There are maybe a few moments or sections of that game that I enjoyed but so much tedious stuff, QTE events and other random nonsense. I also think the whole "you get to replay this section from an earlier campaign but now with a different PoV" isn't nearly as exciting as they thought it would be.Resident Evil 6 is absolute dog****. I replayed RE1R and did the Chris side this time (played Jill for my first) and it was pretty good. Not a whole lot of differences just some minor ones. Jill definitely felt easier with more bag slots and lockpicks. Gonna replay RE2R now but I realized upon hitting the menu that there is something called "Second Playthrough" (or something similar) and it seems to be different starting area, different route in the Police station and you encounter Mr X a lot earlier. I might just do the normal playthrough because I'm not sure I really want an alternate one. I heard there's a different endboss though so I feel conflicted.
It feels like the most expensive Telltale game ever made lol and at the same time incredibly half-assed. The gunplay feels incredibly janky like it wasn't even play tested. Its also piss easy regardless of the difficulty setting you select. I thought it sucked at release but its sooooooo much worse than than remembered. Even by seventh gen standards, its embarrassing. At this point, I'm continuing with it for the laughs.I went into that game thinking "It can't be as bad as people say" and throughout a majority of at least the Leon campaign I was like "It's not THAT bad". Good **** the Redfields.Jill and Leon are the other two!!! Hopefully!
I literally forgot them, while typing that since Jill/Leon are the ones rumoured to appear in this. Claire is overdue for a new game appearance that isn't a REmake/Chronicles.Good **** the Redfields.![]()
