He's so good he should play Joker.

1st Pick.

After seeing the character how he played Victor Frankenstein I think he would be a great fit for the character and his time in Split & Glass have shown he can act his backside off.

2nd Pick.

Visually of the three I think Redmayne might look the most like The Riddler, plus he's all round good actor. The only thing im not too sure about is Im not sure I've ever seen him in a villainous role.

3rd. Pick

Originally he was my first pick for Riddler, watch House for a few episodes and its very easy to see how you could turn that character in to a great Riddler. The only reason he's dropped to 3rd is simply so much time has passed that I doubt he'd do and he will be turning 60 in a few days.

I am so ready for other Bat villains like Riddler and Penguin to get Ledger level treatment so we can get definitive versions on film. Not to say that Devito and Carrey weren’t entertaining lol, but time for more serious versions.

I like Hoult but he’s a bit of a boring choice for The Riddler imo

To me, the definitive Riddler on film is still Frank Gorshin. I would like to see some of his wormy and frenetic characteristics worked into this next film version, but in a more subtle, nuanced, and visual manner. Frankly, I find most of the casting suggestions here to be stupefyingly dull.

Lakeith Stanfield is THE choice, overall.

However, if Riddler isn't the big bad of the film (or at least not obviously so) and they were to draw on Riddler stories which portray him as more of a spineless, narcissistic creep (Long Halloween/Dark Victory are clearly going to be influences and Loeb's take on Riddler is less than dignified) then Kieran Culkin would do a wonderful job.
