The Robin OYL Thread

That was the only good part for me in this issue. Everything else(other then the masion scene) seemed like it was just put there.

yup, i was expectinmg them to come head to head full on.

Considering that Boomerang is a member of The Outsiders I really wasn't expecting them to have a battle to the death. Though it'll be interesting to see how they work together, I'm sure it's going to be quite a rocky relationship. I'm just glad that there seems to be some direction with the book now as opposed to the crappy, oh my God Batgirl is dead story.

If Killa Nilla got a back-up story, I might actually consider buying Robin again. I'm sure I ultimately wouldn't do it, but I'd totally consider it for at least, like, 3 or 4 minutes.

People say Jessica Jones is the best new character created in the last 20 years, these people havent read Killa Nilla.

Killa Nilla makes Jessica Jones wish she could be half as deep and thought-provoking as he is.

Immediately turning the panel over to audience questions, asked when DC would "fix" Cassandra Cain and Batgirl, given that her appearance in Robin runs against how she was portrayed in her former series, DiDio replied, “Follow along and see what happens.”
...

I'll wait until she's fixed and then hunt down the back issues afterwards. I always suspected the only reason I liked stuff like Hal's time as Parallax and the Knightfall/Knightsend was because I read them all at once. Maybe it'll work for Cassie, too. Doubtful, given how much her characterization sucked in Robin, but who knows?

Anyone who says differently is selling something.

The story deserves commendation on two matters- reminding us that Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake still exist; and using an original, believable premise in the exploration of what happens to a supervillain's abandoned hardware and infrastructure.

Probably prefers The Who

Who the hell is the clash?

An English rock group that existed throughout 1976 to 1986. Tim is seen listening to them in the current issue of Robin.

Well I know that, I already read the issue. I just didn't know who they were b/c I wasn't alive in 86
