Most big movies hit Certified Fresh before release date, usually around 100 reviews.

Can't believe we're still at 94%.

I'm shocked (and very pleased) with the score right now.

Holy smokes....can it be? A good/great Spider-Man movie again? Wow...didn't see this coming. I'm gonna see it opening day now.

This is going to be an epic comic book event. Spidey in the MCU, never thought he'd make it. Super excited! $200M opening weekend.

Yeah, I just saw the review. Pretty medium review, as in 2 out of 4.

I did not want more negative reviews to come this soon before 100 reviewer.

Good that there are a lot more positive reviews on the way that we know about.

If this film dips below 90, then it surely means abject failure. You can verily count upon me to burn the tickets should that occur.

By your logic you should never watch any movies ever again since 90% of the movies don't make it to 90% on RT.

Just needs two Fresh in a row for 93%, then it'll be Certified.

It's pretty safe to say that this movie is going to be a HIGH "Certified Fresh."

As a Spider-Man fan, that is simply fantastic. I cannot wait to see this on Thursday night.

Is it necessary for it to be certified fresh?
Its going to do great either way.

I mean... it will be Certified Fresh either way. That just means it's above 75% after 80 reviews. It would take a lot of bad luck for this thing to fall below 80.

I always thought the whole certified fresh thing was odd because what if a movie started at like 75 after 80 reviews but then all of a sudden dropped big time down to like 50?

It stays Certified Fresh unless it drops below 70. 75 is halfway between 50 and 100, so it means it's fairly solid, above-average in ratings. Though then it's kind of odd because the 50s are considered Rotten. It's like they use the school rating (50s means an F) but then reward movies for a 75, which would mean a C. If Fresh is 60-100, I would think they would make Certified 80 and above.

But eh, it's all kinda nitpicky at that point.
