I think it's clear that a 'Mollyverse' is one of the 52 worlds in the DCU.

C-spoons is a closet Molly lover. he's wearing the official Molly panties.

The one thing that kinda disappoints me about Whedon's run so far (although, he certainly can't be blamed for it) is the long-running, interlaced plotlines BKV shaped. With Whedon's run only being six issues, he can't develop any of that, unfortunately. It's a shame too, as I'd say that's the one thing keeping this book from being just as good as any of BKV's run was.

That is also very true.

As I noted, besides the shortness of the run (6 issues these days is barely more than a fill-in arc anymore), my biggest quibble was Whedon taking everything that BKV did in his lart year to make Chase darker and more interesting and he reverted him back to the "pre-Gert's Death" status quo of being a semi-useless "jokey jock", even though Whedon actually acknowledges major continuity and this takes place after Gert's death, Chase's attempt to revive her and their fleeing from Iron Man & SHIELD (a flight that will probably never be shown, so we likely should get used to that).

The preview for the next (and late) issue does show Chase emoting about the death again so we will see what Whedon does with it. Perhaps he felt some 11 issues of material between the core title and YA/RUNAWAYS of "dark Chase" was enough and wanted him to fill the role of Xander. I just wonder who is writing after Whedon and whether whatever subplots Whedon leaves will suddenly become more important than the ones BKV left.

I think this issue will silence just about any doubters of Whedon's run that exist anymore. This issue had just about everything. Interesting character development, attention paid to the relationships between Karolina and Xavin as well as Nico and Vic, new and interesting characters abound (also meeting [BLACKOUT]younger versions of the freaky guy with metal wings and the old woman he's with[/BLACKOUT]), the Runaways acting like a well oiled team, cool action sequences, great humor, and a great twist at the end with [BLACKOUT]Gert's parents being alive back in that time.[/BLACKOUT]

Aw, I was kind of hoping Whedon's run would remain mediocre, since he's only on for another 3 issues. :o

Am I the only one that dislikes Molly of the Runaways?

My friend, you are far from the only one who dislikes Molly of the Runaways. Colossal Spoons and I regularly wish death and/or a variety of poxes on her. Others flock to our cause when the subject arises, as well.

Pfft, the less enlightened frequently wish to hold back the floodgates of truth. :o
