Cool is right. Nico is one of my favorite comic book characters of all time. Not just because of the Staff of One, but she went through a massive character arc. And she’s a wizard, which is also nice. I hope Lyrica is up to the task, but from what I’ve seen, she’ll be fine.

So it doesn't look like Nico needs to be constantly bleeding in order for her magic to work.

I can understand why that was changed from the comic though.

I don't think she needed to be constantly bleeding. Just when the staff got absorbed into her, she had to shed blood to retrieve it.

Well I don't think they're doing that anyway. The actress said she won't be self harming because there will be lots of teenagers watching this show so they don't want that kind of influence.
