I got all excited reading your post Manic, only to find out it's his wife that's getting the gig. Stuart Immonen on Runaways would have brought me running back to this book.

LULZ @ ramos. total eye rape, although I did enjoy his wolverine run.

We can dream, though.

Truth be told, I wouldn't mind Stuart and Kathy teaming up on this book. A couple working on a book together would almost seem corny, except every couple in the comics industry works together. Terry Dodson's wife Rachel is his inker. Weir and DeFilippis write everything together. Jimmy Palmiotti writes Power Girl while Amanda Conner draws.

Speaking of covers, I really wish Jo Chen still did the covers to this. I always thought she helped make this book stand out. Though I am enjoying seeing her branch out to other books where more people can enjoy her work, I wish she'd come back, cause while I know not many people like Klara, I would love to see what Jo could come up with for a cover with her.

I think Klara has potential, but I get why people don't care for her, especially since Moore hasn't really done anything with her except turn her into a slightly boring Molly clone.

Molly's not ******ed. She's deceptively intelligent-- at least she was back when Vaughan was writing.

I'd always hoped that someone would get her to draw some kind of Runaways Annual or special so she might be able to take her time without it affecting an arc.

Molly's certainly gotten more annoying as time has gone by, but I think it's because she's gotten increasingly stupid. When Vaughan was on the book, Molly was arguing about the proper technique for CPR. By the time Moore started writing, Molly thought that the best way to defend the house against the Majesdanians was to build a fort in the backyard.

Yeah, I really don't think that Moore had as good a grasp on the characters as he seemed to claim when it was announced he was taking over.
