Molly Hayes is the greatest:cmad:

Princess Powerful:heart:

I think the biggest problem with why Molly's character has gone a lil downhill in some of the recent arcs is because Vaughn has such a specific vision for her since he was basing her off of someone he knew personally in his sister. Someone that none of the other writers really know, so something gets lost when they take over.

We can dream, though.

Truth be told, I wouldn't mind Stuart and Kathy teaming up on this book. A couple working on a book together would almost seem corny, except every couple in the comics industry works together. Terry Dodson's wife Rachel is his inker. Weir and DeFilippis write everything together. Jimmy Palmiotti writes Power Girl while Amanda Conner draws.
Walt and Louise Simonson worked together a few times, too. :)
Unfortunately that seems to be Avengers: The Initiative. :csad:
Hopefully it's just for this arc. If he's still on after the Initiative's Dark Reign restructuring, I'm gonna have to seriously reconsider whether I want to continue reading A:TI at all.
Klara should have stayed in her horrible life of being beaten and sexed by her old husband so I wouldn't have to see her
I've always found her to be incredibly annoying.

*Shudder*
Star, you're a lady after my own heart.

And that picture has reminded me that we really need a "vomit" smiley. :o

We don't need one. We can just post that stupid picture of the two of them stuffing their faces. It'll get results

I find myself hating just about everyone when they are written by Moore. Especially Molly, Klara, and Chase though.

Chase's downfall started with a man who usually is all about character development, Whedon. It's like Whedon came on and just bam, suddenly Chase was the dumb funny *****ebag again. Something Moore has turned up to the 18th power. :(

When does the new arc with the new artist start. I would really like to jump back into this book.

I'll probably read it too

But hopefully they actually write the characters well

It's a fothermucking party then!

Everybody buy 1.5 copies of Dark Reign: Young Avengers. Let 'em know we still care.

Better yet. I will bring a friend...we will each buy one and then split the price of the third...BOOM 1.5 :p

I've been keeping up with my little Runaways. Moore shouldn't be allowed to do anything unless he's given a solid two year run. His work rewards patience, points in case SiP and the increasingly fascinating Echo. With Runaways I feel he's only now getting a feel for his characters (and bear in mind Klara was dumped on him at the last minute, he had to rewrite the first three scripts when he found out Whedon was bringing her to 2007, wait 2008, wait 2009... damn his run was late). It's nice that Molly has someone her own age in Klara, we saw her yearn for that back with that whole issue when she was lost in the sewers, but Klara is a very 2D character she can be scrapped, perhaps she can move to the savage land and grow trees all day. Also Moore explained why all the Runaways were behaving oddly. So I'll defend him.
I won't defend Ramos. I've said a few times, the man's a cartoonist, not an illustrator, and he's especially not suited to Moore's subtlety, it was a bad match. Runaways may not be as good as it was under Vaughan (I reread the Escape to New York storylline last week, so much fun), but it's beginning to get promising, just as Moore is getting moved on, which is a shame, set him up with a good artist (I though Roger Cruz's work on X-Men First Class was an ideal candidate for this book) and there's the chance of Runaways getting back to being the comic you most look forward to every month.

So I would like to jump back into this comic again now that Ramos' art is out of the way. Would now be a good time or are we in the middle of an arc that I should just wait till it's done?

I'm not a fan of Ramos, but I actually didn't mind his art this time around. No doubt, the book ain't what it was under Vaughn but a lot better than it was under Whedon.

That said, it's the start of a new arc an' a good jumpin' on point. May wanna brush up on the characters via Wikipedia first, but otherwise it's good to go.

I'd wait until the new creative team start up with issue 11 in June.

Speaking of, has everyone seen the new solicit? Are they going to make Klara psycho or something?

Thank You both
