I picked up this series with Volume 2, and went back and bought the hardcover. LOVE Runaways.

And I'm glad Gert died. Her attitude really pissed me off. Victor is so hooking up with Nico

Least I know I'm not the only one who thinks this is going to happen!

I thought Young Avengers & Runaways #1 was pretty good. It was a much more action orientated take on the Runaways as opposed to the more dialogue driven BKV series. Its a nice change although BKV's version remains the best by miles.

Anyone else think it would be interesting if the Runaways and Young Avengers swapped members at the end of the mini series?

Swapping members eh? Molly could be exchanged for Kate; accomplishing 2 things:

1. Kate becomes a Runaway and gives Nico a run for her money as leader of the team. It also gets my least favorite YA off the team.

2. Molly becomes a YA; and gets killed due to her lack of training in a fight against a super-villain.

That would make me

I don't know the Young Avengers that well but if I had to pick one to join the Runaways I'd go for Wiccan. He seems like the coolest out of the bunch.

I'd pick Karolina to leave and join the other team. She has always been dull and can take Xavin with her.

Lose one gay character and replace with another.

Wiccan is one of the coolest, which is why he should stay. Too much connection ot the team; Teddy and Speed. As for Karolina being dull, I think the whole sexual orientation conflict she had a while back was really interesting. Xavin is a jerk but he has a lot to offer to the team.

The Runaways had much cooler codenames. Like Princess Powerful, Talkback and Lucy In The Sky!
