So the first episode was pretty good. And dare I say it, better than T3.

I mean, in the first episode they take advantage of the continuity of the first two movies way better than T3 did. In fact, T3 barely remarked on the first two movies at all. In the tv show, they went as far as having Sarah and John visit Miles Dyson's house again! Excellent nod to continuity. The action is decent. The actors are decent. In fact, they're probably better actors than the ones chosen for T3.

I'd give it about 8 out of 10.

Apparently there is already advertising on FOX for the series, anyone see red dots during FOX programs recently? Well, that wasn't a part of the program or your imagination it was the TERMINATOR!

I stumbled upon this while surfing on imdb and then looked it up on google and apparently many people have noticed these red eyes everywhere. I personally only saw them once on PRISON BREAK.

I just saw the Piolt on stage6, was alright fair sight better than T3 and had the right feel to the film. Some of it was off in places (but thats just me being a fanboy)

But if i see this on tv i will give it a watch!

I've seen a trailer after I did an online survey... could be either good or total crap. The guy who played Claire's friend on Heroes Volume 1 is playing John Connor.

No she hasn't just they tarted her up a little bit for that pic. She's still reasonably flat chested as always but I still love her.

yea i cant wait for the show to start in jan. originally it was set for fall but got pushed back when the pilot had to be reshot for a few scenes and the evil terminator in the pilot was recasted. I did see the unaired pilot a few months back and i thought it was pretty good. I am glad that t3 events dont happen in the show's timeline. I do hope fox gives the show a chance. Also it would be great if arnie was able to appear at somepoint as the t101 but highly doubtful since he is still governer. At the most i could see the show producers probably getting robert patrick(t1000) to probably appear since he does tv shows nowadays and all that. any one see this pic of the actor who is the new evil terminator for the pilot episode:

what is the point of this series, its a waste of time.

terminator and t2 were enough.

T3 already pissed on Cameron's work, and now we have this.

The whole story of the Terminator has been watered down for todays MTV reality audiences.

The original Terminator movie was a gruesome, violent low budget sci fi masterpiece with nasty and powerful synthesized music.

T2 expanded, taking advantage of more gruesome, violent and epic action with state of the art sfx, and an even better synthesized music score.

Then we got T3, a ****ty movie for the MTV reality audiences, watered down and with a bloody orchestral score.

Now we have this series, even more watered down, with campy actors and pointles story lines which nobody wants to see.

On top of that, its on Fox network. oh dear.
