what is the point of this series, its a waste of time.

terminator and t2 were enough.

T3 already pissed on Cameron's work, and now we have this.

The whole story of the Terminator has been watered down for todays MTV reality audiences.

The original Terminator movie was a gruesome, violent low budget sci fi masterpiece with nasty and powerful synthesized music.

T2 expanded, taking advantage of more gruesome, violent and epic action with state of the art sfx, and an even better synthesized music score.

Then we got T3, a ****ty movie for the MTV reality audiences, watered down and with a bloody orchestral score.

Now we have this series, even more watered down, with campy actors and pointles story lines which nobody wants to see.

On top of that, its on Fox network. oh dear.

Well im a massive fan of both T1 and T2 and i saw the Pilot a few months back and i thought it was pretty dam cool

I don't understand the hate for T3. I thought it was great.

Thomas Dekker aka claire's friend from season 1 of Heroes. and i dont think it is a T-101, as the 101 was arnold's model number. it may be the same series which was 800, hell it could be a 102 or a 103, etc .

I thought the pilot was pretty good when i got ahold of it a few months back. I cant wait to see it officially in jan to see how the new actor playing the evil terminator is like cause i didnt like the original guy they had. Also i cant wait to see what was changed since they had to reshot a few scenes from the pilot. The only nitpick i have from the unaired pilot i hope gets fixed before it airs officially was this. During one scene in 1999 the fbi guy who is trailing sarah mentions the desctruction of cyberdyne happened 2 yrs before the show which is wrong and it is really 5 yrs in 99 from what it was blown cause t2 was set in 94. I really hope someone caught this mistake and it is easily fixed.

i don't think they can rectify such a mistake. they don't have enough brain and mental capacity to do that. After all, it is on Fox network.

And that Terminator make up in that pic above looks pathetic. Worse than an 80s B movie horror. I've seen better makeup done by amateurs.

Also, has anyone heard the rumour that because of today's MTV reality audiences, apparently, John and Sarah have to deal with a Gay Terminator sent to kill them.

It is supposed to be a season finale.

but the aired pilot will be slightly different from the leaked one with some scenes got reshot and the actor who played the evil terminator in the pilot was Yea and the evil/good terminator models will probably be different model then arnie t-800 101 model and all that. I believe the producers of the show are fans of the series so they probably wont make mistake on model numbers. And as i mentioned before in the leaked pilot they made a goof during one of the 99 scenes saying cyberdyne was destroyed 2 yrs before the show started when it is 5 yrs really. Since t2 was set in 94 and the show starts in 99. I think if someone did catch the mistake they could easily dub the line out and replace it with 5 yrs instead of two yrs.
