I'm sure Fox is weighing all options.....Im sure they are trying to determine what kind of backlash would occur from the fans if it was to be cancelled....people mailing spare parts or something to the Fox offices??

It took CBS a bit to deal with all those nuts from the Jericho fiasco
Pancake mix:oldrazz:

I'd have gone with spare parts. Why do all these mail-in things have to be food?

the only one Id ever heard of was Jericho...have there been others? I think there was one for Veronica Mars but I dont recall what it was...didnt watch the show so didnt care

I don't know how reliable it is, but I belong to a different forum, and someone said they have a mate who lives in LA. He said they are tearing down the sets of T:SCC. The guy is a moderator of multiple forums on the website, so I'd trust him not to be lying. Here's the link to the post anyway;

well in the second to last episode they were moving out of the house so that set wouldn't be needed anymore....much like the first house they were living in....Zeira Corp was basically abandoned....so the sets would be taken down

It started, as far as I know, back with Roswell. People mailed in bottles of Tobasco sauce for that. People wanted to mail Rice-a-Roni in for Journeyman, too, but I don't know if they ever did that.

And now its just become an inevitability. Every show at least gets a discussion about it. Wonder what people are planning to send in for Dollhouse. Or Chuck.

I think its silly, and it does cause issues at the offices because its the interns and office staff that have to wrangle all that stuff....the Head of programming isnt lugging bags of peanuts down to the dumpster

I wouldn't say Ziera Corp will be abandoned, but that's pretty much the only set we're likely going to see in season 3. We've got no confirmation that ALL the sets have been taken down, and also, we don't know if they are just planning to rebuild when they're needed again.

It does seem like a waste. There'll always be other shows, and nothing on right now is even good enough to make me consider paying for postage on anything.

I'd pay to have a box of Auntie Jemima's mailed to Fox if it meant that TSCC had even a slightly better chance of renewal.

Let's lighten the load, while still making it unique and big enough to show we care. I vote that we all send a clipping of pubic hair to them in a sealed envelope...that'll get those intelligent fox executives talking!

grabbed this from the commentors on the terminator blog.

Twitter quotes about the Ausiello scoop:

from Ashley Edward Miller (TSCC screenwriter):
“Time for Ausiello’s semi-annual SCC termination report. False again. (Remember “sets were destroyed” report? Now you know context, people).”

and from Josh Friedman himself:
“Waiting for Michael Åusiello to tell me what I’m supposed to do now with my career.”

Too often these gossip bloggers with "inside sources" are way off mark. its not over til its over people. and the people on staff/crew still seem to think theres a chance.

Heres an interview with Brian Austin Green where he seems fairly confident givin the situiation.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has NOT been axed
By David Bentley on Apr 15, 09 11:31 PM

A REPORT that claimed Fox has cancelled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles has been dismissed as false.

Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello reported a source saying the sci-fi show had been axed.

But the show's writer Ashley Edward Miller dismissed the claim via Twitter, saying: "Time for Ausiello's semi-annual SCC termination report. False again."

Miller was referring to Ausiello's earlier reports that had also claimed the show had been dropped - one report just before season two and another midway through the season.

Showrunner Josh Friedman also responded via Twitter: "Waiting for Michael Ausiello to tell me what I'm supposed to do now with my career."

Actor Brian Austin Green, who plays Derek Reese in the show, told Comic Book Resources: "Nobody's heard anything. I've heard a lot of speculation, you know, people saying that it won't be back but we thought that after our first season. We thought that again after the thirteenth episode of this season going into the back nine.

"We've kind of been the show that's fought its way through and I don't think we're done. I don't necessarily think that Fox is done with it. They really enjoy the show.

"It's just that a show like this has a very specific audience. It's a really intelligent show and for the people that don't watch it every week, there's no possible way they could follow it. It's a very unique series that way. I mean, it's incredibly serialised and incredibly intelligent."

He added: "The third season is going to be incredible, if it happens. There were no intentions of this being a SERIES finale. It was absolutely a SEASON finale. There's a plan where this can go and it's so good."

Fox said it was still deciding the fate of the show: "No decision has been made yet. We will be announcing our Fall schedule on May 18."

SPOILERS BELOW IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE SEASON FINALE:
Green clarified fans' confusion over the season two finale, explaining that John Connor had travelled to an alternative future where he had never existed before, along with Catherine Weaver (who may turn out to have been sent back from that future by John), while Sarah Connor stepped out of the time-travel bubble and stayed behind in the present.

I'm glad to see this news that is telling us that it hasn't been definitely canceled yet and that FOX is still thinking it over.

Same here. I reeeeeeaaaaaally hope we get renewed. I'm guessing that part of their decision will be hinged on the final DVR numbers for the finale, which won't be in for another week or so. :(

I wish he would go do something else other than producing terminator... he's not been, nor is he up to it.
