He's starting to act like 'John Conner'.![]()
Is that John's illegitimate brother that will lead a bunch of girl scouts?

Don't they still owe us a 'Shirley-nator' backstory, or was this ep it? I still want to hear from Weaver exactly what the purpose of Ellison is.......
No one turns into a great leader overnight....
I think Derek killed her....he knew that as long as she was running around she would keep trying to push Connor in a specific direction and she was a danger to them all
My theory on that is that Shirley (or whatever she is) is trying to do things better than what SkyNet did....taking over gradually instead of nuking the planet and destroying everything......
The way they've described how SkyNet works is that it always looks for a more efficient way of completing its task....
Ok, I must have missed some of the show... what did losing a baby have to do with being a cold-hearted "B". Most women who lose a child, would never be willing to use someone elses child to be "hampton-the-pig-target" no matter how good the reason.
Also, does anyone else reckon that Shirley and the Metal inside the box Jesse was transporting are actually one and the same? I mean, there's bound to be a reason why they showed it escaping...
Absolutely, which is why i'm siding with what someone else mentioned about Shirly-Nator trying to create her -own version of Skynet-; cause on the sub, the liquid-terminator could have killed Jesse, but it didn't; apparently some of the 'metal' in the war are unhappy with Skynet as well, which is why they were willing to hear Johns proposal to 'join the resistance'.
I'm thinking the liquid Terminators were an experiment by SkyNet that was abandoned....maybe they were more developed and harder to control so only a few were made
The T1000 used a whole new level of technology; nano-technology. The T1000 was not just a machine, it was a combination of millions and millions of microscopic machines network linked together in a cohesion subroutine. Each machine was constructed of mimetic poly-alloy, a pseudo-living creature composed not of living cells, but rather billions of tiny machines. The T1000 could change shape simply by ordering parts of itself to move into a new position. The T1000 could imitate perfectly anything that it sampled by physical contact, including perfect copies of humans, though complex machines were beyond the limit of the copying process. it could quickly reproduce simple machines; prybars, wedges, blades, but it could not reproduce complex machines such as firearms and other projectile or energy weapons as these had complex moving parts and required other chemicals and/or special fuels. Powered by an advanced molecular power source superior to that of even the T800, the T1000 could physically match the machine strength of any lesser machine.
When SKYNET created the T1000, it was desperate for victory, but it also realized that it was, quite possibly, creating the one weapon that might turn against its own creator. A weapon that SKYNET didn't know if it could defend itself against. The nature and disposition of the T1000 was hard to calculate and SKYNET took great pains into programming the unit with a myriad of fail-safes to keep it from turning on the creator. Still, SKYNET was unsure about the wisdom of creating such a powerful unit with total autonomy and free will.
Except Batman has gotten over his parents' death and his mission is not of vengeance on the corrupt or revenge against his parents' killer. It's about justice and making sure that the law will punish those who do wrong.Apparently you did miss some of the show. Loosing a loved one can make a person very bitter;it's VERY common; just look at alot of superheroes; Batman for example-he's driven by revenge for his loss...just like Jesse. She lost her child because of Conner's mission. She couldn't get revenge on young Conner directly, cause that would help the machines win, so she went at his 'right hand'- Cameron. She was blinded by her revenge....it was wrong to 'use' Riley like she did...but understandable.
Yeah that is what I thought too. I read that and laughed because Golgo-13 made my point for me with the Batman reference.Except Batman has gotten over his parents' death and his mission is not of vengeance on the corrupt or revenge against his parents' killer. I'd still like to know how she got access to the time machine...

Either way, I guess it works when you consider the banter between Jesse and the Crewman that tried to rape her, the coldness in which the 'metal' kills him, and the subsequent 'showdown' with Cameron where she is told that she still does not warrant an audience with John.
Golgo is right about one thing. I would like to know how she gained the resources and access to the time machine to put together this little mission.

; notice that nobody ever gets to speak to or see him in the flesh.....something to think about. Batman in the comics is still very much haunted by the death of his parent. Batman in the MOVIES has gotten over his parent death... plus Batman only got over his parents death many, many years later. Jesse hasn't had that much time to go through that grief process. Plus she didn't even tell Derek. She's holding all of that in. Some ppl can handle it; some ppl can't.
I don't consider Jesse bad, by any sense, just misguided.
We still don't really know the true extent of how much control future Cameron has over future Connor. She said "telling me is like telling John".......really creepy. I wouldn't be suprised if the reason why Cameron was sent back was to get her away from Connor, cause she had taken over. Hell, i wouldn't be suprised if someone other than Connor sent her back (after a slight reprogramming) to get her away from him cause she was corrupting his thinking....or even holding him captive; notice that nobody ever gets to speak to or see him in the flesh.....something to think about.
They still haven't touched on why Derek REALLY freaked out when he first saw Cameron, after he had been shot and was drifting in and out of consciousness, and we got his backstory via flashback. I seriously doubt it was mrely because she was 'metal'..it was like he had saw satan-himself.
Sarah also bought up a good question in this ep about why future John had sent Cameron away from him...like i said before, maybe he didn't send her. Maybe someone else sent her to get her away from him......
What was up with the early, rubber skin Terminator model? It was freaky.
