Pro-choice means just that - you support the choice of having an abortion. No matter how hard the right tries to demonize that position, no one in their right mind is pro-abortion.
Exactly, None of us WANT women to have an abortion but we think a woman should have the CHOICE if she wants to do that.... or not.

It's about self freedom, You know, That stuff the Right wing and the teabaggers preaches about every day.:whatever:

The Right likes to preach about freedom but when it comes right down to it they really want to control everything, Gay marriage, Abortion and so on and so on....

If the Right had their way we would still be living like they did in the 50s.:whatever:

I think there is a wide spectrum of thinking within the Pro-choice group.

Some that do not see abortions as the killing of an unborn child, all the way that have many questions (that's me, I'm not going to even pretend to have the pay grade to make the call on when life begins) to those that do believe that after a certain time it is murder, but still believe women should have that choice. It is a wide range....

Exactly Supes.

While there is a wide spectrum of thinking, that still does not change the fact that anyone in their right mind is not pro-abortion.

The people out there that see abortion as a valuable tool in birth control? Are those the people you are talking about?

Because there is a hell of a lot of them....

Because there is a hell of a lot of them, and most are massive progressives.

I doubt there's 'a hell of a lot of them'...

I believe there is....they may not advertise it, but I bet there is far more than you would expect.

they would have to pay me a hell of a lot more than that to do that show....

$200,000 guaranteed even if you're voted out in the first week paired with an attractive dancer? Plus all the other perks ABC would give you. I'm sure Mommy Grizzly will have a future date with Dancing with the Stars.

this is what brought you to the political forum?....lmao.

I wouldn't call appearing on Jimmy Kimmel as a perk.

She is a moron indeed. But when it comes to qualifications...her and Obama aren't far off from each other. I am voting conservative in the 2012 elections and if she is the nominee then I will want to leave this planet. Obama vs Palin 2012 = End of the World. The Mayans predicted it.

When it comes to qualifications they're MILES apart. If you're talking experience you'd be right but Obama is far more qualified than Palin has ever been.

Please list what has qualified Obama to be President. Plus if you are talking qualifications, why did he lose to McCain?

That's not what we were talking about, we're talking about if Obama is more qualified than Palin.

Obama has B.A. in political science, a J.D. from Harvard, served as a state Senator for 8 years, and served as a State Senator for 3 years.

Palin has a B.A. in communications, served as mayor for a few years, and was governor.

Barack Obama was also a constitutional law professor for nearly 12 years.

Palin has a B.A. in communications, served as mayor for a few years, and was a governor.

A governor who quit halfway through her first term because she 'didn't want to be a dead fish floating down the river'.

Please point to my post where I said that Palin was more qualified than Obama.

Bush graduated from Yale and with a business degree from Harvard. How do you feel about Bush compared to Obama?

I am talking political experience.

Here is Palin's political career:
Wasilla City Council 92-96
Wasilla Mayor 96-02
Alaska Governor 06-08

I am not counting crap she was doing before her City Council job and between her job as major and governor and I am not counting Obama's community organizing or lawyering at the University of Chicago.

Obama:
State Senate 97-04
US Senate 05-08

They both have flimsy political backgrounds.

City Council and Wasilla Mayor do not even come close to being a State or US Senator.

McCain wasn't elected because the fact that he voted with Bush 90% of the time scared people off.

City Council and Wasilla Mayor do not even come close to being a State or US Senator.

Which is why I said that Obama has more experience but not by much:dry: Do you people even read posts in here:huh:
