Clone Wars The Season 5 Discussion Thread

It's an droid episode? Ok, I know I'll be multitasking throughout this one.

Why am i not surprised that it was Hunter who found those pics, huh? You mando-obsessed man! :oldrazz:

My reaction to finding out this was another episode with WAC and crew:

Pffffbbbtthhhhbbttt

My review of this episode:

Pffffbbbtthhhhbbttt

I love this show and I'm all for new characters and their stories, but hyperactive and intentionally annoying characters like WAC are no fun at all. Not to mention there's never any explanation as to why they bought an idiot like WAC along in the first place. I know the Jedi are busy, but surely the Republic can't be that desperate for capable personal.

Hopefully next week we'll see a return to the usual quality of stories, these last two episodes have been stink on toast.

This weeks ep was the worst in the series entire run IMO.

I agree. Even the political episodes had some redeeming factors, this was just garbage. Part of me feels like they were waiting for the budget to be renewed and they couldn't afford to do anything fancy. Having two annoying characters argue in the middle of nowhere for most of the episode...guh.

I hope we see a serious improvement next week.

I liked what they were arguing about, but the way they approached this whole story is... meh.

According to IMDB we won't be seeing the next episode until January, can anyone confirm that?

If that's true, and I have no reason to believe it's not, that stinks. Going out on a low-note. At least it's probably a good sign that this last episode was probably the end of the story arc and we can return to the good stuff when the season starts up again in a few weeks.

I heard that too, that CW will break until January 5th, when it will return with "Missing in Action": D-Squad discovers that Abafar, the planet they are trapped on, is Separatist-controlled, but they also discover a Republic Clone Commando named Gregor, who has been stranded on the planet as well. They must work together to get off the planet safely.

I expect the juicier episodes to start after the break. They always save the best for last.

That's great news. Looking forward to some clone action! I hope if we ever see WAC again, he's in pieces.

Yeah I thought the place they ended up in looked like where the lost Republic Commando would come into it from the trailers, but I was hoping the final part of the arc would be this weekend so we could start the new year with a fresh arc. Interesting that the Commando is not Fives given the markings on his helmet.

Oh man Hunter, that's a great pic :woot: . She looks great!

Man, sometimes I wish we had SW type armor/tech in the here, and now. Give me some Mando armor, and a star ship, and I'd be a happy camper lol.

"Bring back this lost child before it is too late."

That ending is interesting. I wonder if he is referring to Ahsoka or another child. Given that she is avoiding clones and a gunship I'm gonna guess she goes rogue. Not surprised. It's the only way they can have her leave short of dying.

I got to thinking about it, maybe Ahsoka discovers something about Order 66, and what the Chancelor is really up to.

Decent episode, I wish Gregor's story had been spread over 3 of the 4 parts instead of all being crammed into one episode of a 4 part arc.

Great stuff, not sure how much was new but that scene of Obi-Wan talking to Force-ghost Qui-Gon was, right?

The end shot of Ahsoka reminds me of Anakin floating through Coruscant after jumping out of the Airspeeder during the chase with Zam in AOTC.

That would be pretty great, I am guessing that is who Anakin is chasing in the other trailer where we see him running through a train.

The Qui-Gon scene was from season 3.
