As a gay man I may get penalized for saying this but...I hate the purple color scheme on everything. I get that it's supposed to make the bots seem less intimidating to humans but feminizing the sentinels just makes them feel...I dunno...like Robo-Cop Meets Barney.

And yes, I know the purple/fuschia color has comic book relevance, but this is ONE area where I would've expected some modernizing and updating...especially if they weren't going to go with the more barrel-chested, bulky Sentinel classic design. I don't hate it...but I don't like it for some reason either.

Maybe in action it'll look far better.

I didnt think there would be so many negative responses to the sentinels. First people complained about their not being Sentinels in an XMen movie,then the head appeared in X3 and people complained it was only the head and not more. Now when we have a full fledged Sentinel people are still complaining. Yet we dont know how they will even be portrayed on screen, it may surprise you and be badass or maye they want it to look like it cant do anything to throw off the mutants and when they let the guard down it just wrecks havoc.

Omg I totally agree with you, and those are the exact words that have been said up here. Lets see them in action first or their mission in the movie then go from there.

If you really dont like them then fair enough, but I would wait until we see them in the actual movie or at least in a trailer before we can fully evaluate them. Good or bad.

but I don't think it'll make much difference seeing it on screen.
I think I've seen enough of it to accurately judge it's design,and frankly....it looks like a turd.
I imagine that in the movie it'll just be a moving turd.

i know im nit pickey as well espiecally when it comes to Storm, but im just saying lets give the Sentinels a chance,weve wanted them for so long we may be surprised how great they are in film regardless how they look the purpose they serve in the movie could make us forget how it looks.

There are multiple Sentinel models in the movie. I am sure that there will be bigger and more intimidating models. These look older and maybe designed for a specific purpose.

No one knows for sure...But I wouldn't be surprised if MasterMold is in DOFP
